I had some jumpers (sweaters) on the clothes horse to dry in front of

We had quite a violent thunderstorm this evening, with flooding locally.
Baggy decided to go out in it, I called him in, he stayed 2 minutes and
then went out again. Now the storm is over he's come in soaking wet,

Girly's foster mom who fostered her for two months came today to take Girly

Unfortunately, it was a nightmare.
The prep was truly awful, as many of you warned me.  But it was not as
horrible as the colonoscopy.

I was hoping that the 70 per cent chance of my tumour being benign would
mean it would apply to me, as I was trying hard to be positive.
However.  I got the 10% borderline, which is much better than the other 20%
definitely malignant, I know.

I have not been to a horse riding lesson in 6 months due to one thing and
another..being sick, Grant being sick, instructor doing shows, my
trip...etc. Well. I was sooooo stupid. Thinking "oh, it wasn't that bad when
I started taking lessons. I was never overly sore." Ahem. Waaaay ...

I mean, I never thought Vino was exceptionally smart or anything, but

We went to TED today for his checkup and boosters. Mithu is in good
health, although at 14lbs., he could stand to lose a pound or two. He
got his 3-yr rabies vaccination, and a FeLV vacc, since he comes in

Yikes!  We don't get a lot of rain here and we're having what they call a
hundred year flood right now.  Our basement has flooded, though not terrible
badly, 2000 people have been evacuated here and thousands more throughout
