The Adventure of Jeff, Robin, and The Mouse!23 Jun 2005 02:43 GMT4
The enclosed porch has a mouse highway near the door that Robin and
Djoser watch assiduously. We are usually watching tv when we hear a
Crash, Bang!(cans of bolts and nails) We know what that means. As we
struggle out of our comfy chairs, the victorious cat runs through the
[OT] Drug Commercials23 Jun 2005 02:28 GMT37
I'm so tired of listening to Pharmaceutical companies "pushing" their drugs
on the public in television commercials!
For one thing, how do they manage to sell these drugs when... "possible side
effects can include tuberculosis, lymphoma (no kidding, I just heard this
Four months for Sherry22 Jun 2005 23:09 GMT66
Sherry's last post to the group was on 2/24. I wonder where she has gone?
4 paws in the air22 Jun 2005 23:04 GMT3
Just now I saw Rusty sleeping in the cat napper by the window belly
up and 4 paws in the air. He looks so content and relaxed.
And why not? He had breakfast and no pill for today. I rubbed his
tummy and he barely moved a whisker. :)
Happy Birthday, Nina22 Jun 2005 22:47 GMT13
Okay all, I just have to say it, it's Nina's first birthday!  My little
summer-solstice cat, who was a premie kitten delivered by C-section and
weighed three ounces at her birth, came into the world one year ago, today.
=o) When I went to pick up Francesca  and the kitten the next ...

Where's O J?22 Jun 2005 19:07 GMT4
We've been having router and DSL problems.  A new router is on the way
and I should be back soon.  Rather than go through all sorts of
gyrations to prove to the router company (D-Link) that their router is
still bad even after we uploaded their 2.0 firmware, we're just
The Big Cats! (A trip to the zoo)22 Jun 2005 15:58 GMT7
John and I spent *hours* at the zoo yesterday.  (I can't believe I forgot to
take my camera, darnit.)  We saw some awesome big kitties :)  The cheetahs
were hisspitting at each other.  One of them was lounging under a shade tree
and every time the other tried to come near she'd ...

Check out the Princess Rita album in there.
Isn't she beautiful?   Topaz visited for 4 weeks. She's 17 years
Yee Hawwww!22 Jun 2005 13:20 GMT13
John won "Best in Show"!  They handed him a check for $1500 and said "Thank
you very much for bringing your art here."  Isn't that just great?!  He's
also sold a few pieces so this show isn't as much of a dog as we feared it
might be :)
Follow up on kitty with bad neuter.22 Jun 2005 06:28 GMT5
I posted yesterday about a little boy kitty at my vets office who had
an issue due to his neuter. Well when I picked Harvey up yesterday
evening, I asked about him but of course they would only say very
little other that they were able to remove the problem. I did not ask
[Very OT] Measuring IR radiation density22 Jun 2005 04:47 GMT5
Ok, this is so *totally* off topic, but you never know if you don't ask, so
I'm asking.
Does anyone know where I can get an instrument that will measure the
infrared radiation density in the 0.8 to 1.5 micrometre wavelength band that
Mean kitten22 Jun 2005 04:29 GMT3
We went to my dad's house for Father's Day. I thought it would be
great to see his cute little kitten, Lucy.
Hah! Lucy has become the calico kitten from hell.
I found out (one yowling cat, and several scratch-marks later) that
Hobbes is spending the day with Ted22 Jun 2005 03:52 GMT17
He began coughing last week - very similar to the asthmatic cough that
Sam experienced. He also has had a runny eye for about a week so I took
him in to see TED. His upper canines (felines?) are infected which she
said might be causing his runny eye and possibly the ...
OT - Bubbels update22 Jun 2005 00:50 GMT2
Many thanks to Yowie, Jo, Tweed, Victor et al for their encouragement of
this crazy addiction.  I've read the tips and the high scores.
This is the weird thing - I'm actually able to control how much I play now,
though I played lots at the beginning.  My husband, OTOH, who *never* ...
