Castor, where are you ?26 May 2005 11:33 GMT27
Today, Thalia set out on her journey to find her brother Castor.  I
expect her to at times use her voice to let him know that she wants him.
George (Thalia's vet) and I were with her when she set out on her
journey.
Harvey is making himself at home.26 May 2005 06:52 GMT2
Harvey came home with me on Friday as planned, but hid in the closet
nearly all day.  Now he is running around making it known that this is
his house. I also think that he may have been an inside/outdoor cat
before his imprisonment in the shelter. He crys for hours on end in the
Where is he?26 May 2005 05:09 GMT4
When I got up from my nap today, I couldn't find Rusty. He was in his
room, aka the atrium, when I went to bed. He likes to sunbath there.
I thought he may be sleeping in his carrier, but it is empty.
When I opened the door to his room,
Real Life Intrudes and a Kitten Update26 May 2005 03:48 GMT13
First of all I'd like to send apologies and purrs and hugs wherever
needed/wanted for those I haven't responded to or even read their posts
the last week (well since the 16th).  I'm afraid that this is the
roughest time of the year for teachers and by extension for us subs.

What is wrong with Oliver?  Any ideas?25 May 2005 22:44 GMT7
Help!  I have no idea what is wrong with my little boy but he seems to
be very agitated about something and he is driving me nuts to boot.  It
all started Sunday evening he started whining and crying and yowling.
He slacked off some Monday morning but by Monday evening he was back ...
[OT] Killer Sale25 May 2005 19:11 GMT31
I've been looking for (cheap) suits to give me an Executive Assistant
"image" for (hopefully) any interviews I might get (please gawd soon!).  I
found a killer sale at Sears the weekend, and got this suit *and* the
blouse - all three pieces for $40.  Then I found the shoes on sale ...
Good News25 May 2005 18:33 GMT17
I've just ahd a call from my neighbour. The stray cat that had the
abscess on his face has just shown up at her house. He is looking quite
thin, I doubt he's eaten much in the last couple of weeks. I think we'll
feed him up for a couple of weeks, then get him to the vet for

Baby Bea terrorizes the older cats25 May 2005 12:14 GMT5
When I put down a plate of gooshy food this morning for the crew, Baby Bea
ran right in and started eating with them all, and she was growling so much
that everyone left her to eat by herself and only came back after she was
finished!

They just rang. Nikki hasn't gained consciousness and her temp has
stayed over 41 C for several hours now. She keeps cramping, and on the
vet's recommendation, I gave them permission to release her. They asked
me if I wanted to b ethere with her, but since she hasn't regained
Emergency purrs please25 May 2005 11:34 GMT24
Nikki is in the hospital. I woke this morning to strange sounds, and sat
up to see herhaving a fit beside the bed. She was twitching and
growling. I rushed her to the vet school hospital, and they stabilised
her, but her temperature is way to high and the vet said there might be
