It's back27 May 2005 11:58 GMT2
Or is it?
last year remember I posted about a robin that would fly into the utility
room and eat the dry cat food left out for Waffles?
Well this year, it's back. Or is it? Robins don't tend to have a long life
Poor Samuel!27 May 2005 11:57 GMT1
In the Mahoney house it's not possible to go to the bathroom in privacy.
Passing through the bathroom door is guaranteed to bring at least one,
usually two or three kitties running to keep you company. So it was no
surprise when Samuel came dashing through the bathroom door right ...

How did the interview yesterday go?  Did you come away with positive
feelings or no?

ANother purr request, I'm afraid.
This time, for me.
Had a long chat to a friend, who gently hinted I too may have the depression
bug. And now I've admitted it to myself, she's right. I am depressed. It

Ahhhh!  The Sucky Monster Is After Me27 May 2005 01:14 GMT4
I just happened to be looking in the right direction at the right time
to see the 'sucky monster' try to eat my boy Smokey.  He made a leap
from the back of the couch to the rolling bar and missed.  OK, no big
deal!  He missed by enough that he didn't land on his back or

Frank has a dental appointment tomorrow at the vet school hospital. The
vet who saw him there last autumn wanted to see him again before summer,
for his perodontitis. You can probably all imagine I'm not thrilled at
the prospect of taking him in. Just hoping I make it through the ...
Ping Helen S [OT]26 May 2005 17:24 GMT16
I'm now up to 10 miles a day on my granny, one-speed bike.  That's with the
wind, and against the wind, up hill and down hill (or, being it's Houston,
up incline and down decline ;>).  I do this in about 50 minutes.   I'd
probably bike longer, but the heat is just too bad (up to ...
Baby Bea figured it out26 May 2005 14:08 GMT2
Today she started drinking water from a bowl. She must have learned from the
older cats. Whew!
A hairy shirt26 May 2005 13:18 GMT10
A couple of weeks ago, I hung some clothes to dry on the balcony.
There's a bar to hang clothes on out there. Underneath it stands a small
table, and Mere soon discovered the clothes. We all know how much she
likes climbing on hanging clothes. Well, she managed to pull one shirt

Purrs for Nathan please?26 May 2005 11:41 GMT35
He's exhausted, aching all over and got a migraine.
At the weekend we were in France & he did the 500km Tour of Normandy. He was
the youngest rider (at youngest age allowed to attempt it), rode with some
other Brits, a lot of French & Belgian riders. Not a race - well, it might
