DH noticed a cat outside.  It seemed to be limping slightly.  I went
to investigate.
No collar.  Has a recent "lion cut" (body shaved, head and paws still

"It's Tweed!  I am out of hospital and staying at Margi's until

Well, not really a firm diagnosis. The ultrasound revealed a small
kidney and a normal one, TED thinks this is why the creatinine and BUN
were a bit high. She's not concerned about this.
Lymph nodes were a bit large, but that could be one of many things.

His bloodwork came back and it's not good. One liver enzime is elevated
and his electrolites are abnormal too. :(
TED wants to do an ultrasound to see if there's anything else (she
didn't use the C word, but I'm afraid that's what she thought) of

Is there any free/cheap software that will crop irregular shapes (cat)
without too much manual effort? I thought it might be fun to do some "Smokey
does the Grand Canyon" shots, ala Godzilla.

The weirdest thing happened last night.  A commercial got me to whistling
(that and feeling good about the interview yesterday).  At first Sammy came
up to me and stood with her paws in my lap straining her mouth towards my
face.  When I leaned down towards her she licked my lips ...

I swear on my mother's dentures that I shut off the idiot box before going
