The first photos of Ranger05 May 2005 03:57 GMT28
Nancy took some photos of Ranger and just sent them to me. I haven't
taken the time to do a proper web page for them yet, I just through up a
quick & dirty one to get photos up.
You can see our newest little one at http://www.catfolks.net/ranger

Usually I don't bother to purchase catnip for Simba and Pepper.  I
have a catnip plant to grow my own.  Both cats seem to react to the
fresh catnip, but have never shown much interest in the dried catnip
from the store.  Well, I managed to kill the fresh catnip plat by

"Well me hearties,  how goes the work?"
Smokey, the Bos'n could see that new ropes had been fitted for the
sail crew to stand on while they let out or folded up the sails.  His
question was more of a greeting than an inquiry.

Challenge OT, hopefully fun04 May 2005 16:22 GMT13
I like to keep the mental muscles flexing and find entertainment at the
same time.  One of the ways I do this is to find alternate ways of
saying something.  Another is to make a phrase out of the three letters
on most license plates.
Ripley's04 May 2005 15:00 GMT4
Tonight's "Believe it or not" show featured a Siamese-mix cat who eats with
utensils. She was videotaped eating from a plate with a fork, from a bowl
with a spoon, and also using chopsticks to eat Chinese vermicelli. Did any
of you folks see it?
What to do about fussy eating habits?04 May 2005 14:11 GMT4
Another problem we have with Sox and Shoes. They will only eat one
particular brand and type of wet cat food. In this part of the world it
is made by Purina and the stuff in question is called Friskies
(pouches). It has been harder and harder to find in all the local
Harvey - Sad News04 May 2005 13:54 GMT26
Harvey passed away a while ago. It was quick, unexpected, painless but
he was with people he loved. Understandably, I don't really want to
talk about it and probably won't return for a few weeks. Don't take
ignoring this thread as being rude.
Latest on the job scene here04 May 2005 13:48 GMT34
Nancy has now interviewed for 3 different positions with the newspaper
that is the parent of her current employer. All three jobs are jobs she
would enjoy, would pay better than she earns now, and would allow her to
work normal human hours instead of 70 and 80 hours every week. ...
Job Purrs PLEASE...04 May 2005 13:36 GMT21
Thanks for all the purrs that I'd get invited for interview at the
Environment Agency - THEY WORKED! I have been invited for interview on
Thursday 5th of May!!!
Please could you purr and pray as hard as you can that I can get this
Mutual Lifesaving04 May 2005 13:25 GMT5
Today I was supposed to go to Springfield and Gloria asked me to pick up
gama grass seed from this ranch along the way. The ranch had lots of nice
dogs running around, and cats also. I commented on one of the dogs which was
a female Dalmation, very pretty and sweet.
Purrs for our furry girls please! (middle-of-the-night barffest)04 May 2005 12:48 GMT14
The cats were fine when we went to bed last night... but I woke up at
1am and felt something damp under my leg. In puzzlement I pulled back
the covers and found that one of the cats had been majorly sick right
next to me. Ugh! From the position I'd guess it was Silver - it was
Cat Stacking revisited! :o)04 May 2005 06:13 GMT12
Remember the game of Cat Stacking, where we tried to see how many items we
could rest upon our reclining feline, before said cat got up and walked
away in a huff?
Well, I ran across this link in someone's blog and thought of it:
