Last night Persia was snuggled up next to me with her head resting on my
waist.  This is her normal start-off sleeping position.  I was just drifting
off when suddenly she *jumped* and her head came up.  I can only surmise she
had a bad dream.  I patted her to try to soothe her but ...

I just bought a prepaid cell phone this weekend, and wound up with
TracFone as my "service" provider.
I cannot retrieve voicemail, nor can I make contact with any actual
human being to get help.

Last summer (for new posters)  Kitty went missing and I eventually found her
injured in a neighbour's garden.  It was never established quite what
happened, but TED put her right.  (Hey, just take my month's salary, why
don't you?) but it was worth it to get this grumpy girl back ...

for the purrs and prayers. Jas was a special boy, and he is sorely missed.
Bear is still upset, but that is to be expected.  They were very close.

Scouty was lying on top of the scanner having a snooze when she woke
up, stretched and rolled over - and rolled right off the scanner. She
almost caught herself on the computer case but her momentum carried
her off that too onto the floor behind the desk. She sat there looking

I was going to write beforehand, but things didn't work out--RL can
sometimes get in the way of best intentions. Anyway, Sheba went in
today for her tooth extraction. She was rather quiet during the long
ride to the vet.

Well, we went to see the new Cat-only TED this morning. :)
I liked him very much. The surgery was *VERY* tranquil and quiet, and I
really liked his attitude with the cats. Cleo got her shots and wormed,
and Pandora got her claws trimmed. *THEN* he let the two girls wander

I'll be away for a few days. Purrs and prayers for everyone who needs them.
