My sister, Shelby Dawn Gosling, has not been seen since saturday

place saturday evening, and neither I nor our mother has heard from her
NEED CAT HELP-EMERGENCY08 May 2005 03:34 GMT14
I have a semi domesticated feral cat living in my garage. He is the
coolest cat I have ever had, he is almost a dog in the way he comes to
me when I give him the signal I am outside. I have feed him for 3 years
and had him in the house a few times.
Purrs for grieving mom (OT & minor GW)08 May 2005 03:25 GMT14
Two nights ago the Star Mare Hanneke (http://friesianlover.com/hanneke.html)
foaled prematurely. We discovered the dead filly around 10 a.m. yesterday
morning.
Hanneke was frantic. The filly had never stood up, the cord was never
Getting to interview purrs08 May 2005 03:16 GMT39
My dispatcher is trying to get me routed back to my home terminal in
time to make my Tuesday interview, but no luck so far. So far I've
received two preplans that would have me missing the interview entirely.
A few extra purrs that the dispatcher makes it happen would be ...
Telling the cats08 May 2005 00:12 GMT6
Well, I have taken advice from the people who have told me to tell the cats
what was happening.  That I would be away for maybe ten weeks and that Stan
would feed them.
It felt a bit silly.  I don't know how they can possibly understand, but I
OT Cruelty Warning- 2 Swans killed in NY Park07 May 2005 23:22 GMT4
We have marveled at the strength and orneriness of swans on this ng,
but it wasn't enough to save a mated pair from a creep who stabbed and
beat a mating pair to death in a park in the Bronx.  The male was 25
pounds, and the female 18.

No, Xoxo didn't get a haircut, just a brushing. :) That's a US quarter
coin, for size comparison.
what to do about this07 May 2005 20:26 GMT82
A guy at work has a 16-yr. old cat (at least 16 the vet says).  He has 3
teeth and only eats canned food.  He only likes Fancy Feast.  This co-worker
found the cat left in his apartment when he moved in.  He took it to the vet
and had to get all the shots including rabies, license, ...

Last night we had a small meeting-up with Joy, Yowie, JeanH and me at
my place.  It was lovely to meet Joy and JeanH and to catch up with
Yowie and the Yowlet (who is now almost walking!).
A picture is in the "we met" section within the hoomins bit of
OT: Memorial day in Houston07 May 2005 19:02 GMT5
Houstonian RPCAers:
We're going to visit the in-laws in Houston for Memorial Day weekend.
I'm told they have bridge Saturday night, so it's perfect for a little
rpca reunion if y'all are up to it! :)
Interview Purrs!07 May 2005 13:58 GMT27
It's been a year + 2 days since my last full-time job went to The
Philippines without me, and I was called a little bit ago for my (drum
roll) *3rd* interview in that entire time.
A few purrs could help, as it sounds like they're definitely
Silver - update07 May 2005 13:52 GMT15
I found out who it was barfing - it's Silver, and she's one sick kitty
:( I gave them a little bit of chicken this morning and she gobbled it
down like she was starving, but then she sicked it all up again a
couple of hours later. I haven't seen her drink or use the litterbox
Is there any limit...07 May 2005 13:24 GMT10
...to the length of a text message one can post here? Just wondering.... I
have written something terribly long and don't want it to be truncated.
Today07 May 2005 13:00 GMT20
Dear group
I have read *all* your reponses to me, and I thank you all and wish I could
reply to everyone.  You are all just so kind sensitive folks.
I wish I wasn't so tired but I guess it's par for the course.  It takes me
