Tiddles/Dot RB12 May 2005 12:15 GMT21
Sad news today from my father. Tiddles/Dot (no decision was ever
reached as to which name she preferred) has been killed on the road.
She was tragically young - less than a year old.
She was acquired by my stepmother as a foster cat. Her hoolikitten
February cat pics online12 May 2005 12:11 GMT4
I know I'm still way WAY behind, but I sat down today and did some
serious work on the cat pictures, and I just uploaded the February
album to Kajikit's Corner. There's a link right off the front page...
One thing - it's amazing how much smaller the cats were then! There's
Furballs and the blankie12 May 2005 10:30 GMT7
UK slaves might like to take note of this offer: A garage near where I
work has this offer on, if you buy anything (I just got a packet of
cookies to take to work)you can then buy a fleece pet blanket for
£2.99 so I saw this as an opportunity to solve a problem. Sarrasine
Another one (Spotty baby Update)12 May 2005 07:12 GMT10
Sometime during the night Spotty went and brought yet another baby to
live on my patio, which brings the total up to four. This one is
another mostly white kit, with black/gray spots. So there's 3 who take
after momma, white with spots, and the one B/W tux kitty who rubbed up
Sabra Update12 May 2005 03:10 GMT6
This is the *third* time I have tried to post this.  The city has
decided to turn our water off today.  Ever have one of those days?
I'm having one now.
Took Sabra to the vet on Monday.  He is an old cat, they agreed.  He
Sabra Update11 May 2005 22:07 GMT4
The news is not good.
Took him to the vet yesterday for bloodwork.  He was dehydrated and
got fluids.  He has cataracts and some other eye problem of old age.
His weight is down to 7.44 pounds.  They had a difficult time drawing
So many posts - so little time11 May 2005 20:19 GMT4
We have a race this weekend in St. Louis, MO. and we have been working
on the race cars, the yard, the laundry, etc each evening trying to get
ready.  We leave early morning (around 2 am edt) to make a 10 hour trip.
Hopefully arriving around 1 p.m. (cdt). We gain one hour which ...

Purrs Given (and some needed)11 May 2005 15:20 GMT19
I don't always post to individual messages requesting purrs, but that's
doesn't mean that the Enigmatic Eight isn't purring for you!
They are currently purring overtime for Tweed, who need them for emotional
support as well as for Jill's dad's surgery to have corrected the problem ...
What colour candles? [OT]11 May 2005 13:49 GMT15
I need help here.  What candles should I light for my father?  I'm
terrified.  I think I'm going to lose him.

Job Hunting purrs needed badly11 May 2005 13:26 GMT29
Well, four good years down the tubes - I lost my computer programming
job today (perl language in a medical records repricing type
business).
Please send job hunting purrs our way so that I can continue to
The Acolyte11 May 2005 12:53 GMT12
Cary can now crawl at an amazing rate. Turn your back for a second and he's
already in the laundry, or bathroom, or racing up the hallway on an
important baby mission. IBKFergus is almost always beside him, and quite
frankly I'm not sure who is following who.
I think I have covered it all now. (OT)11 May 2005 11:30 GMT28
My main concern as I seem to insist on being ill, is the welfare of my cats
and poultry while I am gone and to allow for the worst happening too.
My friend Stephen is taking 1 rooster plus 3 hens, 1 rooster plus 2, 1
rooster plus one and two spare roosters, which is six pens to ...
Fostering is *SO*  worthwhile. :o)11 May 2005 11:07 GMT12
I had a lovely suprise saturday. The adoptive mom and dad of 2 very
sick, very feral, very timid and terrified kittens that I fostered in
September '04 stopped by out of the blue and knocked on my door. When I
got the kittens, they were infested with roundworm to the point they
