Sabra is gone17 May 2005 13:21 GMT45
The new vet came to our home yesterday evening.  He had fluid building
up in his lungs, his blood pressure was very low, he was not eating,
and it was time.
We got out a card table after taking Sabra around to say goodbye to
Sophie RB17 May 2005 12:59 GMT40
On 2nd May 2005 Sophie passed over to RB.
She'd been quiet and down for a couple of weeks (she sometimes was) then
on the Thursday she went off her food and despite being served all her
favourites she didn't eat. Sunday evening she could hardly walk. I cuddled
Dyson "Animal" vacuum17 May 2005 09:16 GMT47
I am going to buy the purple "Dyson" this weekend and was wondering if
anyone here has any experience with Dysons.  I have 2 long-haired cats and
they shed daily.  Lots of hair!  The reason I want a Dyson is because it
doesn't lose suction power overtime. I am getting the purple ...
OT: As many folks are out of work, I have to say I'm grateful17 May 2005 00:38 GMT1
Six months ago a credit card company approved my credit protection insurance
claim (after minimal haggling with them).  I got a notice (which I was told
to expect) late last week stating if I wished to continue this protection I
needed to provide them with another letter or email ...
Bunches of new pics16 May 2005 22:57 GMT2
I've just uploaded a lot of new shots of bitty Beatrice (currently chewing
on my arm), Abelard and Lily to
abpa. Enjoy!
What Seven Weeks Has Taught the Kittens16 May 2005 21:12 GMT8
1.  The sucky monster will get you.
2.  Be careful when attacking the thing that follows Merlin about, as he
is a lot quicker than he looks.
3.  When the hoomins are laughing, they are laughing at you.
I know I said..16 May 2005 21:10 GMT11
That I would try and post tomorrow, before I went into hospital at 1 pm.
To be realistic, that won't be possible as I have still too much to do in
the given time.
So.. I shall say goodbye for now until (hopefully) I can post again.
Another one for the "What were they thinking?!?!?" category16 May 2005 21:03 GMT3

#1) Car driver ran a stop sign.  What was their excuse???  Stupidity?
Distracted by the cell phone/radio/passenger/hot coffee spilled in their
lap/hot cigarette dropped on their crotch?
Rob is a Codfather again16 May 2005 21:01 GMT7
One of Rob's dalmation mollies gave birth the other day and now a small
flock of itty bitty spotted white fish are playing hide and seek among the
statues and plants of the big tank.  I'm totally enchanted.  Pine Cone is
less amused and seems to think I'm nuts as I talk to the ...
I can hear her from here!16 May 2005 20:31 GMT1
I'm at the front end of the apartment.  Persia is in the back sitting in a
sunny open window.  I can hear her making those funny squeaky chattering
sounds at the birds and squirrels all the way up here!  I love it when she
does that but she's not normally this loud about it!  It's ...
More evidence16 May 2005 19:51 GMT8
I can't believe I forgot to put away the roll into the cabinet *again*.

We're pLAAAaaaAAYiNg!!16 May 2005 17:29 GMT8
I was hearing a rather loud, playful "yooowwwwl" while I was trimming off
dead flowers outside.  Since some of the clouds looked rather luminous, I
decided to put the sheers down for good and investigate what the yowwwwllls
were all about.  Last I saw, both Maui and Oscar (the ...
I found this neat game/test16 May 2005 16:39 GMT1
...Which I have trouble with because I'm fairly colorblind, and my old
monitor shows red and brown as the same color, at least to me.
But it's fun to try out, and I'm curious how people with better color
vision, monitors, and ....umm working brains do with it.
Teething?16 May 2005 16:11 GMT21
At what age do adult cat teeth start replacing baby cat teeth?
Because IBKFergus has taken to being a feline hole punch on anythign made of
carboard - there's kitty tooth marks *everywhere*.
Or are IBKFergus and The Yowlet just more psychically linked than I had
OT: Tribute to Those Who Serve & Protect Us16 May 2005 15:34 GMT30
As previously stated, I live in downtown MileHigh, where the last of
hundreds of police cars just pulled away from my street
below (their staging area), lights flashing, including all the unmarked
cars....following Detective Young's funeral procession to
