I like to bring home abandoned and thrown away things from work. I'm a
terrible packrat. Most of the things I bring home are things like
cardboard cartons I use for storage, bits or complete pieces of
equipment I like to tinker with, (I'm very god at repairing small

We have two great cats, both originally strays, so we have no idea how
old they are. We asked our vet when we had them *fixed* etc. and she
says it is rather difficult to tell... does anybody have any bright
ideas that would help us get at least a rough idea?

For the last several years, after the tech crash and losing [1] a really
satisfying job in the corporate research center of Nortel Networks, I've
been hanging in from contract to contract, some literally micromanaged

Flippy forwarded me an email from a Janet Hayward on Sunday, who was asking
Flippy for permission to use one of my stories in a book of hers.
Flippy of course said it wasn't up to her, and Janet needed the author's

First off, no cause for concern. =o) This was routine checkup stuff. I took
Pan in to have his blood sample taken as his medication needs to be

I have been missing my Sassy so much lately that my husband took me to
the shelter last night to look for another kitty. My life feels empty
without a furbaby. That have nearly 30 kittys, both bitties and
adults,looking for homes.

An adoptive mommy came to look at the kittens to book them tonight. They
did the whole "cute widdle kitten" thing, and I persuaded the adoptive

The bitties are growing like... well only kittens can. They're getting
more independant all the time. When they first moved in they stuck
