Have your cats lost weight?01 Jun 2005 00:57 GMT12
You can imagine the scene:
My friend Elena comes over, sees the boys and says, "Wow - have your cats
lost weight???"
Me, a little pleased and self conscious "Why yes - I'm sooooo glad you
Purrs for Omar (long)01 Jun 2005 00:32 GMT39
Was hoping not to need to ask for purrs but I think it could only help...
Omar, my 5-year-old orange buddy, has IBD, but recently in the past 6 weeks
or so began drinking excessively and I took him in and had two extensive
(and the word that rhymes with it, too) blood panels done ...
He had best get over it.31 May 2005 20:21 GMT17
We just finished a major renovation of our main bathroom.  New tub, tile
floors, replaced vanity and sink, etc.  And one of the biggest
considerations was to create a place for the litterbox.  We removed a 40"
wide vanity and replaced it with one only 24" wide.  Now the 15" wide ...

..aboot this hoose.
Actually it's more of there's a bunbun bouncing 'bowt the bathroom ;-)
The bathroom is the quietest room, so bunbun is safely in there, and
he/she/it can wander to its content. Plenty of fresh greens from the garden
Cats & their nicknames31 May 2005 16:25 GMT11
I know this subject has probably been brought up a bazillion times here, but
it seems that all cats have nicknames (some have several), as well as their
'formal' names.
But how many here have cats that actually answer to their nicknames (even if

From a joke list I subscribe to:
Further proof that the long term implications of drugs/procedures
must be fully considered.
Over the past few years more money has been spent on breast

<This seemed to get lost into another thread, so I'm posting this again

I don't have the words to thank everybody enough for all your
compassionate messages, both here and privately. I'm the kind of person

Kitty Kisses31 May 2005 12:17 GMT12
Usually the cats are locked out of the bedroom at night because it is hard
for me to fall asleep with five cats all trying to sleep on me at the same
time while Mia does her starfish impression. Anyway, Mia was away last night
so I thought I would let the cats in because they ...

[OT] Even Better Resignation Letter!31 May 2005 10:43 GMT25
OK, I talked to my best girlfriend of 42 years (unfortunately she lives two
states away and we don't get to talk that often) and she if even more of a
extremely polite southern lady b*tch than I am.  She helped me polish this
letter even more.  So, see what you think now...
Thickening of the bowel and intestinal walls31 May 2005 10:39 GMT9
I was talking to a friend today and she is worried about one of her cats.
She took him to the vet  because he had been alternately refusing food and
being sick, and one of the things they did was an x ray. They found this
thickening and have booked him in for surgery this week ...

June 1st) are all set.  Reservations for boarding Persia and Peaches have
been made.  I booked us a lovely studio suite just a few miles from the show
for an astonishing rate.  (I've learned if you ask if they ...
OT : This really made me mad31 May 2005 02:54 GMT31
Last night I was watching G4 channel with my oldest daughter, it is the
channel where they show all of the new video game reviews. Well they
reviewed this new game, supposedly for the teenage crowd. What upsets
me is the main focus of the game is street drugs and even more drugs
