(OT) Me fall down, go boom02 Apr 2005 08:23 GMT39
Yesterday, I had to have my tax person, Barbara, do my taxes, as I do
every year.  It's never fun, and it was worse this year because I had
to tell her it would be ahwile before I could pay her.  Luckily, she's
an old friend and understanding, so it will be okay, and she *will*
Dignified herding to bed02 Apr 2005 06:02 GMT5
The three of them collaborated and decided it was my bedtime last night,
with Ding and Rhonda running back and forth from my chair to the stairs,
looking over their shoulders.
Mr. Clark, however, was much more dignified. He sat next to the
Sore nose?02 Apr 2005 04:13 GMT6
My sweet little tabby is sneezing and grumpy--and this is the worst part--if
we pet her near her nose even very gently she snarls and stiffens as though
it really hurts.
She has asthma and allergies, and gets Depo Medrol
Harley and Smokey02 Apr 2005 04:01 GMT4
Harley is a small Siamese mix. She has the most unusual eyes i have
ever seen. They are opal. Whitish, with sparkles of different colors.
She lives with Smoky, a big grey boycat. Their prime slave is a sweet
man who drives a scooter during the day; saving the electric
Back from TED02 Apr 2005 03:37 GMT16
I've been meaning to ask... What is TED an acronym for anyway?  I know it
means vet....but????
Anyway, Chablis had an abcess just above her front left paw, TED had a
couple of emergencies today so the poor little girl was there most of the
Oh yea thats the spot02 Apr 2005 03:15 GMT5
Last night Sassy came up on the sofa for her nightly scratches and
rubs. I was really engrossed in a new book I was reading and was only
scratching her half heartedly (I know I am a bad meowmie) I was
scratching her at the base of her tail (her favorite place) I got a
astounding series of pics02 Apr 2005 03:06 GMT15
Look at these pictures taken at a race track in
Australia. Where's Alfred Hitchcock when you need him?

Three Nurses02 Apr 2005 01:37 GMT16
I've got a goose-egg of an abscess in the upper right side of my mouth
(which is thankfully, going down). The pain was intense and
unbelievable, so I went to a (not very good) dentist.
The dentist was practically useless, the antibiotics ineffective (and

OT: Man of La Mancha01 Apr 2005 16:26 GMT17
I've been reading a Science-Fiction / Alternate History ebook called
"1633", which is a sequel to "1631", which likely kicked off this
whole thing, in a surreal sort of stream-of-consciousness kind of
way...

To satisfy the tremendous volume of demand (my thanks to you both)
here's a shot of Raki the Japanese Shiba Inu, a timid little soul of
just 23lbs still coming to terms with all the upheavals in his life.
But we're definitely making progress.
Otis trip to TED01 Apr 2005 13:53 GMT15
While TED looked at Otis, Otis smacked his lips 3 times in the first 20
seconds.  This continued for the entire exam and he agreed that it was odd.
They took blood today but couldn't get urine.  They'll do urine tomorrow AM.
He also suggested a teeth cleaning (Otis has never had ...

Cat Trapped in House Fed Via Letter Box01 Apr 2005 11:28 GMT13
LONDON (Reuters) - The owners of a cat trapped for a week in the home of a
vacationing neighbor have been pushing ice cubes and cat food through the
letter box to keep their pet -- named Lucky -- alive.
The Daily Express newspaper Monday said the black-and-white cat was spotted
Harri Roadcat vocalizations01 Apr 2005 11:19 GMT8
I have been fascinated by Harri's vocalizations since she has been with
me. Just like Tabitha and Samuel, most of her sounds are squeaks and
"mrrrp"s. She does occasionally let out with a standard meow, but they
are fairly unpredictable as to when they'll show up.
