PING: European Friends (OT)04 Apr 2005 19:05 GMT1
I used to be able to buy a product in the U.S. (via the web) from Cosmence
Paris called 'Hydra Fit Moisturizing & Firming Body Milk'.  I could order
via "Le Club Des Createurs de Beatue" (it was ccb-paris.com here)  I got
notice earlier this year none of the products from this ...
Sabra's a mystery04 Apr 2005 18:39 GMT5
Well, they checked for hyperthyroidism and diabetes.  He has neither.
They want to check his urine to see if he's excreting (something I
forget the words for) something that is causing the weight loss.  If
not, best guess is he is simply getting old and his body is going

Ping Bridget B - Re "Thing in a Bag"04 Apr 2005 18:22 GMT1
Bridget, the "Thing in a Bag" has been wrapped in bubblewrap, sealed in an
envelope, and mailed, so be watching for it sometime this week.  Note, I
removed the batteries and wrapped them in bubblewrap separately in the same
envelope just so the envelope wouldn't start vibrating ...

Stand Off, Um Lay Off04 Apr 2005 17:33 GMT4
Bandit is in my office lying on a nice warm patch of sunshine.  About 3
inches in front of her nose is a half dead mosquito.  Sammy is lying about
six inches away from Bandit, nose facing nose, staring intently at the
fluttering mosquito.  Every time Sammy extends her paw to grab ...
I could use some help04 Apr 2005 16:45 GMT2
Someone mentioned a web site that archived binary files from UseNet.
There was a directory that I didn't archive when I recently
reformatted my computer and it would be a great help not to have to
scan and photo these pictures again.
Nadia's improvement04 Apr 2005 15:57 GMT8
Just wanted to give an update on Nadia, my foster cat.  She is doing
very well, I am pleased to say!  Her right eye is still clouded,
but the infection appears to be gone and neither eye is goopy
anymore.  She plays like a maniac and loves the feline flyer toy.
flying greeblings04 Apr 2005 15:02 GMT2
The weather is starting to warm up in Nashville (with occasional cold
days), and various flying insects have appeared, a few of which have
found their way into my house.  Last night, some very small creature
apparently attracted Cinders' attention.  I couldn't see what she was
I'm outa here!04 Apr 2005 14:30 GMT13
I don't expect to be back here for a month.  In a few hours I leave for
Australia, friends from other newsgroups.  On the 30th I'll see Tish, and
hopefully some other rpca people in or near Sydney.
I can get email while I'm gone - I'll check it sporadically - but I probably
Out Of Lurkering...Question04 Apr 2005 13:11 GMT3
Today I saw a man who looked quite a bit like our Dave Y wheeling around
like crazy on a big ol' "Hog".....which gave me pause to ponder... Has
anyone heard how Patti is doing? I'm prayers and thoughts are with her...:-)

Jessie and Sammy04 Apr 2005 11:54 GMT12
Someone asked a while back if I could get a side by side picture of my cats
for size comparison.  Well, I could only get two of them together - the
biggest and the smallest...

Ugh - my body aches. (long & mostly OT)04 Apr 2005 03:59 GMT3
We've been pretty busy for about the past week.  Last Thursday 2 new windows
that we had ordered for out (built in 1925) house.  One for the 'office'
(read: cat-room ;) ), and one for the bathroom.  I won't mention the cost
(these two cost as much as for *one* that we replaced in ...
OT Terri Schiavo RIP04 Apr 2005 03:02 GMT36
As I was turning La Machine on I heard CNN announce that Terri Schiavo has
just passed.
Beyond a doubt she'll be crossing the Bridge on two good, strong legs and
with the full intelligence that was hers until fifteen years ago. May both
