How many words does your cat understand?06 Apr 2005 00:10 GMT16
We're always hearing about dogs understanding what you say
but cats can learn words too, so how many does your cat know?
Wilson knows quite a few they are so far,
Are you coming or just, Coming?when I invite him into my bed

April 4 (OT)05 Apr 2005 21:52 GMT10
I just looked at the calendar and realized the date - April 4.  On this date
the tragic shooting of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. occurred in the "fair"
city near which I live (Memphis).  Yet another stellar moment in Memphis
history (she says *very* sarcastically).
It's never-ending05 Apr 2005 15:08 GMT21
Well, in spite of ankle and all (saw the doctor yesterday and yep,
it's sprained), managed to get a friend to come over today to help me
get Cosmo to the vet to get some fluids in him.  I also decided to
take Sabra, since I am so worried about him and tired of *his* vet's
OT-Update on my broken hand05 Apr 2005 12:53 GMT14
Thanks all for the purrs that you have sent. I saw the doctor the
other day. I seem to be one of the 10% that will not need surgery to fix
my broken hand/wrist. I am happy about this but I do have to wear the
cast another month. But then again I'd wear it another 6 months if it ...
Toilet Paper Greeblings05 Apr 2005 12:37 GMT7
Having almost run out of TP, I picked some up today & foolishly left it on
the bathroom counter when I headed for work..... Well, that 12 pack of TP
must have been just FULL of greeblings......
I just arrived home to find 6 of the 12 rolls spread around the house,

On the Internet is a hideous, vile, pornographic and disgusting image
called "Tubgirl."  You will NOT see it in the above link.
What you will see is my warped sense of humour at work:  I found an
Desk Greeblings05 Apr 2005 02:56 GMT7
So I'm sitting at my desk, watching one of the fourth season
Highlander DVDs on my PC.
Buster is in my lap, lying on his back. I am rubbing his tummy.
All of a sudden, there is an invasion of greeblings on the underside
The mystique of Yarn05 Apr 2005 02:07 GMT6
I've been on this crochet kick lately. Even at work, I'm granny-squaring as
if my life depended on it. I got it into my head to make a poncho that looks
like I smoke weed on my coffee break and have little dancing bears all over
my computer. The bosses seem not to care because I'm ...
Be A Cat05 Apr 2005 00:28 GMT3
Yep, now you can be your own pet.
Here's a pic of Katzen (the girl with the tiger stripe tattoos), her
fiance the Enigma (That would be the green puzzle-piece-faced dude
with the pointy ears and horns) and an extremely normal looking person
O.T. Bloomfield, Indiana04 Apr 2005 23:42 GMT2
DH and I are going to be traveling to Bloomfield, Indiana. Does anyone know
of a wib site with hotel info for the area. I know Linton is near by but,  I
need to check a map to see what  is near there. We are meeting up with DH
brother and sister in law and they think they are ...
More job purrs04 Apr 2005 23:31 GMT30
Nancy and I could both use some job purrs. Nancy has a chance to maybe
transfer to a copy desk job at the San Bernardino paper that's sort of
their parent company. Her present job is REALLY bothering her.
And I am going CRAZY being stuck in this driving job. I've applied for
How could I forget?04 Apr 2005 23:02 GMT8
Mere was four months old on Wednesday the 30th, and I forgot to
celebrate! I think someone's getting chickie today.
Mere is now fearless. She goes anywhere in the flat. She feels at home
in the bedroom as in the living room. She baps Frank while he's eating
Kit and Trip report04 Apr 2005 21:53 GMT2
We decided to salvage a couple of days of our vacation and went to
Wilmington, North Carolina on Friday.  We were able to visit the
aquarium (cool) and part of Fort Fisher (a Civil War fort that was also
used for training during W.W.I and W.W.II) before the skies opened up
