Ernie & the TP16 Apr 2005 16:23 GMT20
After starting a load of laundry, and calling Mom to check in, I hear this
PEEP, PEE PEEEEEEEEE EEEK EEEK.  We have had the back porch opened 24/7 for
about a week now, so the kitties can enjoy the birds & other critters.  I
think there's an angry Cardinal out back (Cardinals ...

I have just one question. What is that thing on her head? For a moment, I
thought she had twigs in her hair. Then I realized they were feathers (I
think). But it kind of makes her look like a porcupine. I personally think
she should have worn some kind of subtle pink or rose or ...

I received "Murder Most Feline" On Wednesday.  I was really happy to see
it and have it on my list as next book to read.  I need the next person
(Marina?) who wants to read it to send me his/her address.  I can't use
the Christmas list because I couldn't transfer it from my old ...

A few hours early yet (here), but the best thing about April 15
(widely cursed in the USA as "Income Tax Day") is that it's my
mistress's purrday.
So Happy Purrday to Natasha, who is 18 years old this year!
Firefighters Rule!!! and so do Vets!!!16 Apr 2005 09:32 GMT8
I live in North Carolina and my sister works in a Wal-Mart. One of her
co-workers is a member of a local fire station and the other day that

noticed a mother cat retrieving her kittens from the house. ...
Hunting purrs needed16 Apr 2005 07:23 GMT30
There's a big snapping turtle in the pond where Abelard plays with frogs. I
want to scoop it up with a big flat shovel and relocate it, so there's no
chance of an accident, but it hasn't come out of the water long enough yet.
This turtle's head is almost as big as a cat's head....

Lucy has found her place16 Apr 2005 05:27 GMT2
Lucy is our problem child.  She's not really a problem to us, but she's
had the most trouble of the three adapting to her new home and her new
'siblings'.
When the problems became evident back in December, we segregated the
News on the job front16 Apr 2005 05:16 GMT19
Nancy applied a couple of days ago for two different jobs at the
newspaper which is sort of the parent company of the paper she works for
now. She got two calls this morning - one asking her to come in to
interview for the Special Sections Editor job tomorrow morning, and one
Kitten comes out in spring16 Apr 2005 04:34 GMT10
Sassy may be an old lady but in spring time the kitten still comes out
in her. I love it! She gets a major case of zoomies, wants to play all
the time, even her eyes take on that wild kitten look. I assume she is
expending all that energy she stores up in winter lounging by the

Ping Yowie16 Apr 2005 02:01 GMT2
Yowie, I noticed when I gave the FAQ for this group to Mary that when you go
there you get a gazillion pop-ups (I don't use a pop-up stopper because the
