| Mere is here! | 25 Mar 2005 23:22 GMT | 59 |
From the minute I stepped in the door, Mere was all over the carrier I brought (equpped with a t-shirt that I've been sleeping in the past couple of nights). She also came and begged me to lift her up. She is so incredibly at home with me!

Aww. Kitty FC is so comfy in her bed in front of the fire in the kitchen that I can hear her contented snores from the next room. I'd like to go and cuddle her, it melts me hearing her make those snuggly noises.

| Humo(u)r - not totally OT - contains cat | 25 Mar 2005 22:26 GMT | 1 |
These ponderings were on the joke-page of a TV-guide and I thought I'd post them here too. Some I've seen before, but... oh well... Here goes: If a person using sign language curses, will his hands be washed with soap? ***

| When does wet food go bad? | 25 Mar 2005 13:32 GMT | 22 |
Do you know how long you can leave out wet food in the dish before it goes bad? I read once that two hours was the limit; however, it seems that its often out longer than that before the boys finish it. I know that I should dish out smaller portions and refrigerate the rest;

| Harri the fashion critic Roadcat | 25 Mar 2005 13:03 GMT | 20 |
The weather on the west coast has been kind of sunny recently (aside from the last week) so I decided it was time to pick up a hat to keep from crisping my mostly-bald head. I went into the truck stop convenience store last night and bought a couple of baseball caps.

| Our Adventures in Benton, TX (Rowdy & Me) VERY LONG | 25 Mar 2005 10:19 GMT | 8 |
What, you say, we thought you all moved from S.FL. to MileHigh, CO - and by plane; what were you doing in Benton, TX? I had gone to lotsa trouble to ship the 2 girls, Sylvie (RB now) and Maluce, a week earlier, by pet cargo air freight; my relatives

| Poor Frank the Finn | 25 Mar 2005 06:42 GMT | 9 |
Aw, I feel so sorry for Frank. A chap prepared to be a friendly uncle to a baby kitty and a victim of mistaken identity! Poor old lad. I've been following the threads, but not had time to respond, got excited

| Shamrock purrs needed | 25 Mar 2005 04:41 GMT | 52 |
Yesterday, Rhett hooked Shamrock's face pretty good. Only, I thought he just hooked skin. They were wrestling, and Shamrock is on the Clomicalm to try to curb his aggressiveness toward Bonnie, so his reflexes were probably slow. He let out a squeal that

| Frustration | 25 Mar 2005 04:16 GMT | 4 |
A tomcat of one of our neighbors is frustrated. Since it is Spring and a young tomcat's fancy has turned to thoughts of love, he has been hanging around my back door. The girls are spayed, and therefore aren't interested, but the tomcat hasn't figured that out, yet. He

| Back home (very long) | 25 Mar 2005 04:05 GMT | 16 |
Well, we got back from our trip on Friday night, but have been so busy ever since that I've barely made a dent in the 2000 posts waiting for me, much less had time to post. First, about the trip. The trip was great. It was so nice to fly
