No, it's not the name of a blues song (although maybe it should be
;)).  It's what I found this morning. Eeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
(But Mommy, that's the best part!)

'Starving' cat28 Mar 2005 04:09 GMT30
Hello cat-fans!  Got a story for you about a stray cat.
There was a grey tabby/white cat who would sneak in our cat-door after we
went to bed to eat the left over cat food and munch on the cat biscuits.  I
would try and sneak back and catch a glimpse of him but he would always get
Stirling shall not be moved.28 Mar 2005 03:19 GMT5
Today I'm going to re-cover our cat tree. My furry bunch scratched all
the carpet off the upright bit long ago, and the carpet on the
"branches" is looking pretty revolting these days. I managed to score
some free second hand carpet as they recently replaced the carpets in
OT: Good News on the Health Front28 Mar 2005 02:40 GMT37
A special issue of the Center for Disease Control's Morbidity and
Mortality Weekly Report has declared that rubella (German measles) has
been eradicated in the US.  Immunization programs have created a general
immunity in the population. This doesn't mean, however, immunization
OT: Schaivo28 Mar 2005 01:11 GMT171
OK, I'm really getting PO'd over this. I feel bad for everyone involved, but
geez, do you suppose the President of the US and Congress would meet
specially just for ME, were I in this situation?? Get the ear of the brother
of the President and I guess you win. Gagh. Sorry. Just had ...
Something's wrong with my Meowmie28 Mar 2005 00:07 GMT34
I need some feline opinions.....
Mama Kristi came home today and she was shaking.  She mumbled something
about being cold, but I didn't think it was cold at all
She got into bed and has been there all day.  Once I came in and she
I'm finally catching on27 Mar 2005 23:02 GMT11
This afternoon we had to drop a trailer at the rail yard in French Camp.
It was sunny and breezy and a little chilly so I put my cap on when I
got out of the truck to unhook. I finished up, climbed back into the
truck, and got us checked out of the rail yard.
Bandit's Better - But I'm Wounded27 Mar 2005 22:53 GMT34
Bandit got her stitches out, she's getting better *very* quickly.
She is certainly feeling like her old feisty self, and I have the wounds to
prove it!  I was holding her when the last stitch was taken out and she
jerked around, bit me down to the bone *IN* the first joint of my ...
Update:  purrs for Nadia27 Mar 2005 22:39 GMT11
Thanks so much for all the purrs for Nadia and the kittens.  Please
keep them coming when you can.
Nadia saw the vet yesterday afternoon.  I was worried because she
felt really hot to me, especially her ears.  Since she has so
Okay... did everyone fall asleep on Sonya?27 Mar 2005 20:20 GMT7
Has she had another kitten yet?  I'm still betting 2 more kittens, and by
4:00 AM Central US Time  And I'm thinking, another black & white and another
black, a boy and a girl.  Oh, and the girl will need some help... don't know
why I think that.  I'm sorry.
Boxcar Betty - Cat uses up one (or more) lives27 Mar 2005 20:19 GMT4
Hi There!  I had to come out of lurkdom to post this story.  Regina is
257 kilometers (160 miles) south of "ToonTown" where I live. The story
made the provincial TV news broadcast.
A cat rode the rails in an unheated locked boxcar from Chicago all the
The continuing Vet Tech Journals (long)27 Mar 2005 20:19 GMT4
Alrighty then.....
Aside from being busy with school, the springboard diving team and
getting strep throat, I'm still here.
As I've mentioned before, Mike has finally gotten his comeuppence.
Darn it!  Sonya can't wait.27 Mar 2005 20:09 GMT25
Well it looks like my bid to enter Sonya in the Guinness World Records
as the world's longest feline pregnancy is doomed to failure.
Sonya is in stage 1 of labor.  If she doesn't stop, she will probably
have the kittens in the wee morning hours of Sunday, Easter.  She has
What's up with Persia?27 Mar 2005 18:03 GMT4
She's getting all 'feral' on me.  Persia is a gentle cat, but since
yesterday suddenly she's kicking and clawing and biting me when I pet her.
I haven't been able to figure out a 'sore' spot.  She's purring and loving
and snuggling and rubbing on me one minute, then she starts ...
Anymore kittens??27 Mar 2005 17:37 GMT4
