Newest Vet Tech Journals04 Mar 2005 22:17 GMT20
Tinta, the cat I adopted last week for our vet tech program is
sick........
It's so bizarre, because I spent time with her yesterday and she looked
totally fine.  Then this morning, I noticed she had clear nasal

An Afternoon with Bonnie and friend04 Mar 2005 21:58 GMT18
Yesterday DH John went off to the specialist to get the results of his
examination and I stayed at home gnawing my nails and thinking dark
thoughts.   A visitor called in and was there when John came in
clutching his X rays.   Seems he has diverticulitus, a condition
Cats & Ironing Boards do NOT Mix ;)04 Mar 2005 21:24 GMT40
OK, I have a finished cross stitch that I am getting ready to frame.  I have
pressed it and mounted it.  I left the ironing board out while the iron
cooled.
Left the room to get my cutting board for the mat.
New Web Site04 Mar 2005 21:24 GMT50
OK, I finaly started to carry out my promise to get my own, personal, web
site up again.  Although it's far, far from finished (most of the pages are
still blank), I would like some feedback, if you don't mind) on the
structure and design.
On the Job Front04 Mar 2005 18:08 GMT3
To all those who purred or even thought about purring for me on the
job front, Thank you!!!
The Job is alot of work and I am one of 3 people in the prepress
department but I am constantly busy.
OT *oof, stuffed*04 Mar 2005 18:02 GMT12
Well, I made the aforementioned AHA recipe, honey-roasted chicken, for dinner.
We used regular teriyaki because we couldn't find low-sodium stuff in the
store.  (I know you can make it yourself, but I wasn't all that concerned.)
Chicken was yummy.  DH prepared some understated green ...

Well, gee, I feel so much safer from terroism now. Yeesh. How much useless
money do we spend on crap like this when there are *real* bad guys out
there.
Uuuuuuunnnhhh...maki GOOD!04 Mar 2005 14:04 GMT40
Last night I was feeling cruddy after a nasty day at work, so my Louie went
to the store to pick me up something rather than cook. He brought me a nice
little tray of sushi, otherwise known as a plate of Are You Out Of Your
Mind?
Purrs for a victim of the streets (RB)04 Mar 2005 11:26 GMT11
This AM I found a dead calico on one of our more busier streets.  I
pulled over and checked her - she was intact but not breathing.  Pretty
little thing - 8 months or so old.  No collar.  I took her to my vet
and they checked her for a chip - no chip. They are going to keep her
Grown cat chases own tail04 Mar 2005 10:21 GMT13
Have I got a cat with a case of OCD?  The only thing he plays with,
ever, is his own tail, which he will do for a half hour or more at a
time with a zany look on his face.  He doesnt bite or anything, but he
seems to get a lot of exercise out of it.
The convert04 Mar 2005 02:12 GMT5
This is a bittersweet, not very happy story, but there is no violence or
abuse in it, so read if you will, or don't.
Once upon a time, there was a family, Dad, Mum and two daughters. They
had a cat called Kalle (a common male name in Finland, equivalent to
Making the Bed04 Mar 2005 00:45 GMT7
Yes, we've all experienced this.  Some more (cats) than others.
I just changed the sheets.  Persia didn't come charging in until I went to
put the top-sheet on.  I was still trying to figure out which way is UP and
flipping the sheet out in all directions looking for the top.  She ...
Cleo-Leo03 Mar 2005 23:57 GMT19
The story behind Cleo, the newest addition is not particularly clear,
but she was a "brought in to PTS" at a vet for being "unwanted".
Cleo, when I got her, was a biter whilst petting. It was one of the
reasons she was returned from her adoptive home. Everytime she bit
(OT) I've GOT to find a local job!03 Mar 2005 17:49 GMT25
I've heard nothing from the local jobs I've applied for, but I've also
got more leads.
Seeing how much Samuel improved when he got his antibiotics makes me
feel really guilty. If I'd been at home every night I might have noticed
