Not kittens08 Mar 2005 20:32 GMT3
All of our cats have been fairly sedate form some time, even when
kittens.  They come along at meal-times and make half-hearted efforts
towards the food but a quick hiss will stop them.
Which is why we were quite shocked when Minke grabbed a piece of meat
Pet Not So Smart 08 Mar 2005 19:57 GMT26
One of the worst cases of mishandled customer I've had the displeasure to
have in  a long time.
A friend of mine asked me to visit a store, to interview with a cat that
needs a home. Many of you know the details, and so I won't repeat them here.
Group Hug08 Mar 2005 19:27 GMT33
Have I mentioned I love you guys recently?
No?
Well, I do. And the recent events make me love you guys even more. Its an
honour to know you, a priveledge to be considered part of the group.

I'm Fiji!
As calm, relaxed, and removed from life as they come, you're just so chilled
I talked to BlueBird08 Mar 2005 08:13 GMT29
Some of you probably remember BlueBird and LittleBit.  I'm sorry to say
LittleBit has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.  BlueBird was very ill for a
while, but is somewhat better now, considering all her medical problems.
She didn't want another cat, but a friend insisted on lending her ...
Cosmo Update08 Mar 2005 07:56 GMT12
Thursday we did Cosmo's fluids, and it was a disaster.  I must have
been sloppy with the needle or something, because he tried really hard
to get away from DH's hold, and was growling at us.  And it took
forever, so there must have been a crimp in the line I didn't notice.

Hmmm, they say that the smarter you are the longer it takes you to figure it
out - I figured it out distressingly quickly!!  LOL

A first for Molly08 Mar 2005 04:59 GMT18
I was relaxing in the recliner next to the back sliding glass door this
morning.  We have had Molly since Halloween and while she hangs close,
sleeps on my feet (only after I'm asleep) and will rub my legs to get
attention, she has carefully avoided my lap.  For a while the kids ...
Compound purrs, please!08 Mar 2005 02:16 GMT34
This is sort of a multipurpose purr request.
You may recall that my mom had breast cancer a year ago, then was
recently diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her spine. She's been
getting radiation and chemo, and they have both helped a lot. Turns out
More purrs for Archie08 Mar 2005 01:25 GMT18
You all probably remember the power of purr that brought Archie back to my
daughter's teacher after he was lost in two weeks of -24 C weather.  He lost
his ear tips and had some eye issues afterwards but has been reborn and
happy to be alive and home.
Purrnicious Purrs08 Mar 2005 01:25 GMT7
Tyche has discovered that purring while meatloafed behind a reclining
human's head can lull them to sleep very quickly.
I've often had an afternoon nap, drifting quickly off to sleep while
Tyche boiled on the pillow next to my head.
I think they are jerking me around--OT08 Mar 2005 01:23 GMT19
I finally got my bill for the visit I made to the ER a couple weeks
ago. Only $302. I was expecting more. After all, the hospital is
expanding and someone has to pay for all the construction costs!
Anyway, I called them up to arrange a payment system. With my clinic
I won!08 Mar 2005 00:41 GMT17
My lovebird's vet started up a web site (don't ask me the URL, I haven't a
clue!)  I got email from the vet saying they were giving away prizes for
testimonials.  Well heck, since he's the only avian vet in the area and
Persia's vet recommended him... I wrote some nice remarks.  I ...
New to the Newsgroup07 Mar 2005 23:58 GMT16
Hi all, I am new to the newsgroup, but have been a LIFELONG lover of cats. I
have 2 polydactils (sry if that's mispelled). One male and one female. Both
of them a slate grey short hair, and white wiskers that match the white
paws. The male, Sir Socks, also has a white mussle. They ...
