My cousin is selling up and moving to Spain, and although he loves Susie
who he's had since a kitten, because she's 18, the vet decided that she
wouldn't make the move well. Rather than ditch her at a shelter where
she'd take her chances, the vet recommened euthanaisia.

A person in the alt.pets.cats newsgroup has a cat that is loosing fur.
Vet suggested it might be food allergies. What are some of the premium
or super-premium brands available in the UK?

Stinky is curled up in his favorite chair, and I can see his little
body moving up and down with his breath.  In rhythm with that, he's
making a tiny little noise that sounds a bit like the noise it makes
when you inhale and exhale through a harmonica. ;)

For the last couple of days, if I give her chin-scritches, her hind leg
comes up and does a scratching motion like what happens if you rub a dog in
a certain spot and their leg starts kicking.  I've tested this several times
and each time, up comes the leg, kicking towards her chin, ...

Just open a container of yoghurt (or of pudding) anywhere in the
house... the cats will explode out of wherever they're hiding and
stampede to the source of the sound. :)
