Success!14 Mar 2005 19:43 GMT3
I managed to get the squeaker out of Abbie's "baby" while she was
outside on a potty break (remember, Abbie is a d*g).  She loves it
anyway, and it won't be driving me (or the kitties) insane!  Yippee!

Purrs needed :o( (bereavement)14 Mar 2005 18:21 GMT31
I've just had a terrible shock.
My uncle, who would have turned 80 next month, suddenly passed away
today.
I haven't got a lot of details yet, save the fact that my mom called me at

Stirling just jumped up on the keyboard and inserted the above text in
the middle of some code I was working on. I figured it would be more
meaningful here.
The story of Cammie (anti-declaw content)14 Mar 2005 15:37 GMT53
Since my own cats have been rather boring lately (don't tell them I
said that!) I thought I'd post Cammie's story.  I posted it once long
ago on h+b but I'm sure many people haven't seen it.  It's one of many
stories I collected when I worked as a vet tech for a feline specialty
Fat cat.. amusing14 Mar 2005 14:20 GMT8
Pandora is not "fat", she's "plesantly fluffy". Cleo is "Quite fluffy".

Both of them hate cheeze wizz ;o)

You all heard what happened with Bandit getting burned at the vet - well,
the problem was even worse.
This morning when I was petting her I noticed matted hair on her back by her
tail.  I got out the wire brush to get the mat out and her hair came out in
AAAA I'M IN A BOX14 Mar 2005 14:03 GMT2
Tyche LOVES to be in a box.
On the toy collectors' board I post on, someone had a pic of a kitten
in a box that had previously contained a toy.  I thought it was funny,
though probably not pleasant for the cat.  The greater fool me.  Tyche
Is my cat strange?14 Mar 2005 13:41 GMT12
Thai-ger (tiger, not Tony the; she's sweet but not sugar coated) is my 3d
cat and she's unlike any I've had before.
1. She doesn't meow but squeaks.
2. Walks around the house frequently making a long drawn out chirpy sound.
Back from trip, and sick as a dog14 Mar 2005 13:41 GMT9
I never got a chance to check in or post during my trip. I ended up leaving
Thursday the 18th and coming back this past Wednesday. I was sick almost the
whole time I was gone, and am still not well. In fact yesterday I was too
sick to even be on the computer for more than a few ...
It's going to happen today!14 Mar 2005 13:14 GMT4
If all goes well, I'll just be gone a few hours, but my system needs
to be re-booted half a dozen times a day.  There's some unknown app
running in the background and messing up my system.  My virus
definitions won't update because of some unknown problem in Windows.
Moustachio Kitten14 Mar 2005 03:46 GMT1
Simba, (relative of Bonnie and Clyde) has been in residence with niece,
Rosemary, her husband Graham and granddaughter Samantha for just over a
week.   Talk about havoc, rofl.   He has a love of potted palms,
curtains and has murdered a box of tissues and went around wearing one
I think cats are nazis !!!14 Mar 2005 03:00 GMT58
They want to exterminate all dogs in concentration camps and enslave
humans.
So don't trust cats, especially if they are from Austria and where
born on April the 20th ...
Chaos's idea of gooshyfood14 Mar 2005 01:51 GMT1
I learned something today. Thatistersay, I was forcibly instructed ... Jelly
donuts (raspberry) are gooshyfood.
I was peacefully lying in bed reading whilst she played.

Second Update - Buster14 Mar 2005 01:43 GMT8
Buster spent the rest of the evening yesterday, stretchedout on his
cushion.
This morning when I was petting him, though, he noticed my lap, and
crwaled up into it. He wiggled around a bit, until he was lying on his
Heating up Gooshy Food?14 Mar 2005 01:31 GMT13
I know there has been some discussion of this in the past.  Persia loves her
Rx gooshy food but she will only eat a half a can at a time, then she
switches over the the crunchy stuff.  The cans are 5.5 oz. (156g).  So I
give her half a can and cover the remainder and put it in the ...
