Maybe he is smart after all?31 Mar 2005 03:30 GMT6
Last week Vino was unable to open the door to the spare bedroom that
was open a crack.  He was scratching on it from the inside, pushing it
closed.  He can pull open a door from the inside, he does it to our
bedroom door every single evening.  So I was kind of disappointed when
Need Vet Recommendation, Baltimore, MD Area31 Mar 2005 00:29 GMT1
Looking for anyone with a good vet to recommend in the Baltimore, MD
area.  I'm specifically in the Towson/Loyola Universities area, and am
willing to drive about a 10 minute radius with the kitties in the car.
Mostly just need the vet for regular checkups/shots -- cats are both
Mere progress31 Mar 2005 00:21 GMT20
I'm very happy to announce that all three cats slept in bed with me last
night. Mere was sneaky. After Frank and Nikki had settled down by my
feet, she snuck up by my pillow and slipped under the covers. She slept
there all night. Nikki slept less than a metre away, on top of the ...
Please tell me it's working!!!30 Mar 2005 23:44 GMT19
I have had nothing but server problems these past two weeks, and hopefully
my buddy Jeff has gotten this piece of, ahem, plastic moving again. It has
kicked me off no less than six times as I tried just to bring up the
messages.
Cat enclosures30 Mar 2005 20:37 GMT21
ONce again, I am trying to think of ways to let the cats out on the deck, so
snooping around the net I run across interesting things. Take a peep at THIS
set up:

A leap into the unknown30 Mar 2005 19:25 GMT5
This morning I was eating my breakfast muesli at my desk beside the
trusty 'puter downloading my favourite Newsgroup (rpca, what else) when
Snowball decided to join me. He leapt up as he normally does but didn't
notice that his landing spot was occupied by a (full) bowl and tray.

Chocolate30 Mar 2005 14:57 GMT33
I was slowly taking note of a kind of slurping noise when it suddenly
registered - that's a cat, and there's nothing edible on that table but my
chocolate Easter bunny! Sure enough, Mandy was enjoying a nice treat;
licking the chocolate bunny with every evidence of concentration ...
We now have four kittens30 Mar 2005 11:40 GMT40
Sonya just had two more kittens so we're up to a four kitten count.  One
is a black/gray tabby.  The rest are black and white, though this might
change as they dry off and collect their colors.  I'm going to let Sonya
dry them off, love on them a lot, and then get pictures of ...
Otis (the Walthamstow one!)30 Mar 2005 11:02 GMT25
Well I can't get in to newsgroups on Google at the moment, so I'm having a
go on Outlook, I hope this works as I've finally found out how to share
photos - don't laugh at me please it's taken me nearly all day to figure
this out - I'm useless at this sort of thing, anyway here goes.

My daughter in formed me a couple of days ago that I am going to be a GREAT

The baby is due in October. This will be her first grandchild and my first
great grand child.
The end of an era30 Mar 2005 07:18 GMT35
In 1968 Charlie and I bought a small black puff of fur we named Wilhelmina
that grew into the most spoiled toy poodle in the world.  She lived until
1983.  I was bereft when she died as we had been extremely close for fifteen
years.  If I was sitting down or sleeping she was right ...

Otis is comfy and Chester is not30 Mar 2005 04:16 GMT13
I mentioned before, years ago, how awesome Otis is at cuddling.  He works
his way into any position without a single pressure point.  He's comfy and
purry and very good at sleeping with humans.  He feels weightless.
I don't know if its because Chester doesn't get much practice, ...
