Spot's no longer got her bulge17 Mar 2005 10:43 GMT5
Just a short note before I start getting ready for work. I posted the
other day about Spotty, who is a regular at the Cat Cafe I run for the
neighborhood kitties. Lately she's been bulging around the middle, and
I figured kittens were due soon. The past couple days she hasn't made
does any here grow cat grass17 Mar 2005 09:48 GMT10
I have these seeds of cat grass that my cats just love!  I try to keep it
growing all year.  Cats go crazy for this stuff and I think it helps with
digestion, etc.
I have a bag of seeds called "Cosmic Kittyherbs" and it contains:

This is an interesting article, that was in ajc.com today, that I
thought might interest some of you.

One out of five17 Mar 2005 05:47 GMT5
There had to be one out of the five who would show an interest in
electrical cords.  I've read stories here about other's cats that chewed
on cords. I considered myself lucky, until last night. Barnabus chews on
cords and cables.  I was on the laptop last night when suddenly it ...

You know, I talk about how bad Bandit is, and it's true, she's bad...
*BUT*...
For the last two weeks I've been wrapping her up in a towel and shoving
awful tasting liquids into her mouth every 12 hours.  I've been opening her
HELP!!!!17 Mar 2005 04:16 GMT3
My cat, moonshine, is almost 3, and is trained on a leash.  When I take him
outside he's fine, but when it's time to come back in he starts hissing
and growling at me and my other two cats.  Also his sister, Jewel, had a
kitten about 1yr ago(she had two, but sadly the first one ...

Panic!
Tiny Timmy had something in his mouth. Could see something white in the
corner of his mouth & tried to extract it with tweezers, a vain hope, he
struggled so much I put him in the carry cage & raced down to the Vets.
Bandit's Visit to the  Vet17 Mar 2005 01:38 GMT25
First, my nerves are shot!!!
The vet said the burn was from the original burn (they discarded all the
heating pads, and they didn't use a heating pad for the surgery Wednesday).
She said it was not as deep, so it took a while for it to slough off the

Bonnie and Clyde17 Mar 2005 00:31 GMT20
This morning is a vast improvement.   Bonnie wants to play but can't
walk too far comfortably.   So, she is inside her favourite cardboard
box.   In the past she has bitten this box all around the sides.   She
is now lying inside and munching pieces off and spitting them out!
tonight's dinner update16 Mar 2005 23:31 GMT27
My freelance attempt at quesadillas turned out to be lovely, but
anyone familiar with Mexican cuisine would probably have cringed.
I made flatbreads / tortillas with a mixture of fine polenta and wheat
flour.  I made a spanikopita-type of mixture with fresh spinach,

I guess this is a new way for a parent to allay a child's fear of the dark.
Her story of 'catching the monster" is cute, even the way her daughter
helped and wants the monster to go to a good home & be comfortable.
Catfight16 Mar 2005 22:03 GMT9
Clyde just chased Deo around the house and the pair had the cat fight to
end all cat fights in the driveway.   They made the mistake of having it
by the hose.  I didn't need telling twice.   I turned it on full bore,
hehe.   It sure was a diversion but not a long term one.   Deo ran ...
