I'm Back (sort of)20 Mar 2005 16:19 GMT2
The reformatting of my hard disk went about as expected.  It was a
pain in the kiester.  I was sure I saved a copy of the newsreader that
I use called "Agent", but I'll be darned if I can find it.  This means
that I lost all the old threads I was saving, like who lived where,

Just wanted to say "Hi" ;)
On a side note my Hubby is REAL excited about
this new IPO stock GRDX. They just started trading

Sonya is in Labor!!!!20 Mar 2005 10:30 GMT45
According to the "Cat Owner's Home Vet Book" Sonya is in stage one of
labor.  It can last for as long as 12 hours, so this will take a long
while.  I'll keep you updated

Little Theif in the Night!20 Mar 2005 07:12 GMT47
Like probably most of you, I feed strays and ferals (in fact I think cats
come from miles around to our "kitty spa" - eight foot fence to keep out
d*gs, food and clean water, a deck they can crawl under in winter and
snuggle up to the heater on the hot tub).
Will I Survive Sammy????20 Mar 2005 05:05 GMT11
Ouch!  With all the stress over Bandit I've developed not one, but *TWO*
canker sores (ulcers in the inside of my mouth).  I was applying some
Zilactin with a Q-tip and had the Q-tip hanging from my mouth.  Sammy, of
course, was sitting on the bathroom sink "helping" me as usual ...
Pawbreakers report20 Mar 2005 03:44 GMT6
Well, we got our package of pawbreakers in the mail yesterday. I came in
loaded with my briefcase and gym bag, so I left the mail outside. I fed
the cats who were very, very hungry (Tom's out of town shooting a
documentary, and I had yoga, so I got home almost at 7pm) and went ...
Pam and family are all right20 Mar 2005 02:18 GMT35
Sonya is still pregnant. I just got off the phone with Pam (and Rob).
Everyone is doing fine.  What happened is that she was going to take Jim
to work and he said Sonya was panting and purring at the same time. Pam
posted she was in labor before she checked on her herself.  ...
Commencing search for kitten19 Mar 2005 20:37 GMT6
Being of unfirm body and extremely unsound mind, I've decided to add another
furball to my household.
I want another Siamese - the traditional, normal sort: "applehead".
Although I would love to have a rose-point, I realize they're horribly
Bandit Update19 Mar 2005 15:36 GMT36
I just got back from the vet.  Bandit is going to need surgery in the
morning to remove the second burn.  It is very yellow (from the eschar) and
not granulating like it should, so it has to come off before it too becomes
gangrenous.
RL got in the way19 Mar 2005 14:40 GMT4
I haven't had time to wade through all 2000 messages that have been
generated in the past week or so.  Sooooo, if I've missed any purr or
prayer requests I'm sorry.
So, here's a giant purrrrrrrr from the Allons Tennessee furkids for
Purrs needed for a friend19 Mar 2005 14:30 GMT18
I don't normally ask for purrs here, and I rarely post my purrs, although I
do read the requests and keep them in my thoughts.  I have a friend in need
of some purrs.
My friend "J" works tirelessly TNR'ing ferals, persuading people to
Facial expressions19 Mar 2005 09:34 GMT30
Most all cats have very sweet faces and beautiful eyes, but they
generally don't seem to have facial expressions the way hoomins do.
Cats seem to have better control of the snout and ears than we do, but
less fine control around the eyes and mouth.

OT: Job Searching - a Hint19 Mar 2005 03:37 GMT5
Bellsouth was having some problems with the pop3 server this morning so I
contacted a rep there who indicated, yes, they are aware of the problem.
They indicated I could still access my email from their home page.  I rarely
have any need to go to my ISP's home page but I did so.  ...
