Sorry22 Feb 2005 17:28 GMT2
I just got back home after being away for the three-day weekend.  I've had
to mark all 940 posts as read.  If I've missed anything I need to know
about, please repeat it or email me.  ;-)
Purrs to all those who need them.

Mousie question22 Feb 2005 13:36 GMT9
When any of your little darlings materializes with a (still-alive)
mouse, do any of you do anything to intervene?  Normally, I don't do
anything, I just pray for him to kill it quick so I can get rid of it.
But Stink tends to take his time with them, since he's more interested
Conflicted wet food feelings (long)22 Feb 2005 10:58 GMT16
I've always felt guilty that Oliver doesn't get wet food.  It isn't that
we won't give it to him but he refuses to eat it.  He isn't really a big
eater.  He'll nibble at some tuna or turkey and that is it.  He loves
his dry stuff.  Every once in a while we will open up a pouch of ...
Semi OT: Constantine22 Feb 2005 10:29 GMT4
Just came back from watching Constantine with some friends. Tom didn't
go cuz he doesn't like scary movies. It wasn't reallys scary and it was
much better than I anticipated. There is a cat in it, a beautiful blue
moggie with green eyes. I loved the guy who played Lucifer and the ...
Recipe wanted22 Feb 2005 07:03 GMT29
I don't have a flame war to start (I promise I will try harder next time!)
but I am begging hat in hand for a good beef or chicken stew recipe. A lot
of the recipes I have found have tomatoes in them, and I can't eat tomatoes!
I just want something simple that I can put in a crock ...
Extra Extra Cuddly!22 Feb 2005 06:54 GMT12
Most of you know I often have trouble sleeping.  Last night I slept just
fine! even though I woke up several times during the night.  Persia was
being extra cuddly.  I was awakened by a gentle tap on my shoulder.  I
rolled over and she was standing there, purring up a storm.  I ...

Catching up.......22 Feb 2005 03:30 GMT1
Argh.....
My internet went out last friday and I've been stuck without any
access.  I spent a LOOOOOOOONG time on the phone with tech support and
it was just a stressful experience.  I finally had to relent to

Did the storm miss you I hope?
Praying that you and family are safe from the storms.

Yesterday's (2/18) Get Fuzzy22 Feb 2005 01:23 GMT6
This one is so Bucky. I was waiting to get a haircut today, and
reading the comics. I nearly snorted an entire bottle of Diet Coke out
my ears.

Thanks for the purrs guys... they worked!22 Feb 2005 00:43 GMT24
John went to another job interview this afternoon, and they hired him
on the spot. Actually it's a probationary trial because he doesn't
have any concrete proof of his abilities to show them (it's a printing
company and he'll be doing the prepress stuff), but  they're giving
OT Please Spare a Purr For My Dad and Stepmother21 Feb 2005 23:35 GMT25
This is not a life-threatening situation, as in neither one of them have a
terrible illness.  They have however been rather hit over the head by life.
Upon their return from Mexico, Dad and Glenna came home at two a.m  to find
their water heater had quit  and flooded a large area of ...
New Vet Tech Journals21 Feb 2005 22:45 GMT10
Argh, I had my first lecture today on pre anesthetic drugs.  ick, there
is so much to remember.
I am glad though that for my senior project I get to continue being in
charge of behavior enrichment for our program animals.  My job is to
