New Scarlett and Rhett pics24 Feb 2005 00:46 GMT25
I took some pics of them today since all I've done lately is videos
of them. I tried to capture the size difference between them, and how
hard it is to believe they are littermates. When together they move
too much. So I got some of them on the same spot. :)  Scarlett is
why do I watch that show?23 Feb 2005 23:59 GMT18
I am addicted to the animal "cops" shows on animal planet.  They follow the
stories of animals rescued from horrible situations.  Some make it; some
don't.  The punishment the owner receives never seems to be enough(*).
I can't figure out why I watch it.  Maybe because it warms my ...
Shamrock and the vet office cat23 Feb 2005 23:20 GMT8
Tonight I had an appt to take Shamrock to the vet to get yet
another Depo shot. The last time I had to take him, he'd gone 3
months since the shot before. I had such high hopes that I'd found
the allergy trigger. I thought it was possibly the wheat gluten in
Speaking of cat dreams...23 Feb 2005 17:55 GMT21
...Every time I have a dream with a cat in it, it isn't either of mine.
I always dream about small, helpless kittens needing resuce -
sometimes in the perils of nearly being eaten by a snake (I have snakes
at home) or wandering into traffic, etc.  There is always a bunch of
Paybacks <long>23 Feb 2005 16:34 GMT3
... and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.
When we adopted our kitties last December from the shelter, every one of
them ended up with a URI.  Poor Ty got hit the worst.  That surprised us
a bit because she was the only one that didn't have to detour ...
Find the kitty...23 Feb 2005 16:12 GMT15
This is a repost from 2003 but I didn't think you'd mind...

Leasons Learned from Leonidas23 Feb 2005 14:36 GMT1
Well, I'm learning new things every day from Leonidas (even DH is
giving in to the name after reading some of the posts from the group).
I know he was "dumped" by someone.  And that he is a sweet, loving,
little boy.  And he likes Meow Mix (the permanents get Iams for which

Where have you been???23 Feb 2005 03:19 GMT5
Saturday we went on a photo safari and took Boone with us.  Oliver
stayed home (when he saw us gathering stuff up he dived under the bed).
We were gone about 5 hours.  When we got home Oliver met us at the
door and he was VERY talkative.  I swear he was demanding an explanation ...
Something came out23 Feb 2005 03:04 GMT35
Well, he WENT. It didn't look like as much as we saw in the xray but it was
a lot more than has happened. Poor guy needed help getting it out. Left
streaks everywhere but that is OK by me. It was about 5 inches long, not
real thick and ALL hair; solid, solid. Stiff even. Now, that ...
Terrible Dream23 Feb 2005 01:57 GMT15
I'm glad its daytime and my dream wasn't real.
Lastnight I dreamed that it was lastnight, except that my mom had dropped by
for a visit and accidentally let Chester out.  I didn't know that she'd done
that and was surprised to see Chester at the back door.  I was horrified

Don't know for how long, but for the moment, my ISP remembers that it
provides RPCA. yay!
Lessee, cat stuff: Mithu has trained Catherine to give him treats. She
doesn't like to hold them for him, but will dump or toss as many as we
