Wakeup Call--OT26 Feb 2005 03:01 GMT180
I could use encouragement. I need to change my lifestyle but don't
have enough will power. The problem is, I spent a few hours in the ER

Off the edge of my memory, I have an old poem floating around in my head
about the metals of old age.
My hair is silver
My teeth are gold

I've been lurking for a week or so, and was just getting ready to
introduce myself (and my furbabies) when it seems there was some
difficulty.  Okay, it doesn't *seem* there was.  Anyway, I'm not the
most patient person on the planet, and I really would like to join in

stuffed flounder?  Will work with any mild fish and the stuffing is meant
for being baked with the fish, not fried as crab cakes.

Britta's wonderful post reminded me of something that we did on a mailing
list I belong to a while ago.
Someone had posted to the mailing list the details of a really nice trip
they took. Just as we have on this newsgroup, that mailing list has

My co-worker's son Aidan is in the hospital with a two-virus infection.
He is getting oxygen and "breathing therapy" several times a day. He is
stable, but not out of the woods yet. I'm sure they would appreciate all
the good thoughts they can muster.

You guys are probably sick of me but you are the only people I have to talk
about this too. I gave him a LOT of food (well, way more than I had) last
night and he did not throw up this a.m. which is good. He never did anything
but urinate last night, so this morning I decided to ...
