| New Cat Toy | 28 Feb 2005 04:15 GMT | 7 |
I had to run to pick up some ingredients for dinner tonight. Walked through the pet supply aisle and saw something called 'A-DOOR-Able' that I just had to get for Persia. It's a catnipped filled rabbit fur mousie on an adjustable elastic cord that you attach to the top of a door. ...

| Sammy and Harri go to the vet | 28 Feb 2005 03:56 GMT | 13 |
Today was a nervous day for me! Took Harri in to be spayed this morning, and took Sammy in for what I thought was an upper respiratory infection this afternoon. Got them both home about 6:00 PM then had to leave right away to make a local delivery.

| Training the D-thing | 28 Feb 2005 03:42 GMT | 6 |
Yup, Speedy has been trained to know who is boss. How does a 23 pound cat train a 43 pound d-thing to know who is boss? Well, QC did it like this. First you take the most recent member of the family to return home to

| Purr Request | 28 Feb 2005 01:15 GMT | 40 |
My 15-year-old is going in for a teeth cleaning today. I know that doesn't sound serious, but any time an older cat has to be anesthetized is worrisome. I'll be a wreck until she's home again! Hugs,

| Purr Request [OT] | 27 Feb 2005 15:52 GMT | 36 |
OK, I worked up the courage to compose an email asking for a salary review (yesterday). I haven't heard back from my bosses (the chairman of the board and the President/CEO). I think I made a pretty good case for why I need and deserve a raise, but with these people you never ...

| OT but soooo funny | 27 Feb 2005 11:24 GMT | 9 |
I received this through a migraine support mailing list and wanted to share. I think I find it funny because I've BTDT and made it to the other side. DH said "What's so funny about this? I've lived through this, it was not funny." :)

| Little Camera Hog! | 27 Feb 2005 08:22 GMT | 26 |
I was videotaping myself doing my yoga so I could see if I was doing it correctly according to the DVD I'd bought. I didn't notice, until I looked at the mpeg file, just how often Jessie came into camera range (sort of how, when I took photos of my house, Jessie managed to be in so ...

| Fire Alarm | 27 Feb 2005 06:52 GMT | 22 |
The other night the fire alarm of my building went off after midnight. My cat Rusty was sleeping but he stayed calm. I was still up and quickly put on my coat and put him in a lightweight carrier. He stayed calm and quiet and we took the long way down the

We're sending lots of purrs out for everyone in need, for any reason whatsoever. I have 4427 messages to catch up on...I'll probably just skim through the new topics then start fresh. Otherwise I'll never catch up :)

| Snake! | 27 Feb 2005 02:51 GMT | 20 |
There's this snake that's been coming over the wall behind our house. The wall is about 10 feet high and behind it is an empty field with half built and abandoned houses where water buffalos graze. The snake has been basking on the top of the wall and every time it is visible,

| Kittens must be hitting a new growth spurt | 27 Feb 2005 00:00 GMT | 3 |
Up until now I have worried about Scarlett in particular, not eating enough. She's always been sort of a light eater. Now, though, both kittens can't keep enough food in them!! They are constantly hungry! No worries about worms since they were dewormed several times after

| Dream | 26 Feb 2005 23:11 GMT | 23 |
I had a dream! This doesn't happen very often, or not that I remember anyway. I dreamed that headbutting had gotten popular with people and everyone was doing it. At first it was cute but it soon became annoying, if
