"she has a very clean ..."14 Feb 2005 11:21 GMT17
Got home last night and DH informed me that "Oscar has a very clean butt."
Apparently, Eric had been lying down and Oscar walked right up onto his chest
and stood there with her, um, tail about about 2 inches from his nose.
I told him it could have been worse ... her butt could have ...
Celebrating Early14 Feb 2005 10:25 GMT19
Pheniox will turn 2 on Monday but we are celebrating this weekend. I
found out yesterday i have to have surgery on Monday so I wont be able
to party with her then so we are going to make a whole weekend of it. I
went on line and found a recipe for a bithday cake made expecisally for
Hey! There's doting in progress and it's not on ME!14 Feb 2005 06:37 GMT7
I accidentally discovered the easiest way to get Captain out of the
underside of our sofa. This is easily accessible to the CATS from the back
of the sofa, but jolly well impossible for DH and me to get at. The sofa
has built-in recliners on either end, so the only way to get ...
Help with my reading14 Feb 2005 06:29 GMT6
Little Feet likes to help me read.
I have the Yanoff newsgroup reader on my Treo handheld. In fact, I
only read my newsgroups on the Treo.
So, when I finish checking out the usual web sites, I download all the
*sigh* .. it was too good to last13 Feb 2005 22:42 GMT42
All of her life ... er, well, since kittenhood, Oscar has been an
extraordinarily well-behaved cat.
It had to stop some time, right?
Okay, it's not a huge deal.  Most cat owners would kill to have my problems.
Mrs pogo chook13 Feb 2005 21:41 GMT4
(brief translator's note: chook = Australian for chicken. Not certain,
but the same term may be used in NZ as well...?)
A couple of my neighbours' free range hens have been hanging around my
backyard lately. This afternoon I was out doing some yard work when I
Our family could use purrs...13 Feb 2005 20:34 GMT34
It's very hard to write this but our family is having a crisis with our
oldest child as of yesterday and we could use whatever positive vibes and
purrs anyone has to spare.  He has special needs which have always been a
challenge but yesterday the circumstances arose at his school ...
Inexperience (AKA more Vet Tech Journals)13 Feb 2005 18:34 GMT13
Hey everyone,
Taking a study break right now, so I'll fill you in on what's happened
at the clinic.
With my schedule I can only be at the clinic at 4 pm on some weekdays
Senyah's misconception13 Feb 2005 18:07 GMT4
We currently have 1 and 3/4 cats.
There is our orang tiger, Little Feet, who is our full-time, indoor
cat, who likes to look out the door, or to be carried out so he can
look at the world from the safety of my arms.
Humor - Another SCAM!13 Feb 2005 15:28 GMT1
I got this from a coworker, last week:
I dislike people who forward too many warnings as much as anyone, but
this one is important.
Send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list!!!  If someone comes

Could only be a Japanese site.   The texts are as funny as the
pictures-- remember, after you finished with your joy, remove her
clothes and give her a hub.  :P  ;)
Ping: Catnipped13 Feb 2005 09:39 GMT14
How are things with your Drinkwell fountain?  I know you said Bandit was
drinking more water which was the goal.  How about the others?  Persia is
absolutely enamoured with hers.  In the middle of the night I sometimes hear
her slurping at the pouring water before she rejoins me on ...
Fighting for Fun and Profit13 Feb 2005 01:46 GMT3
Anyone else have a neutered male who loves to fight?
I use to think that Smokey was super territorial and was defending his
territory, but I don't think that is the case anymore. One of his
former enemies, Rocky Fat Cat, was persistent and kept coming around.
Latest on Sonya and the hand13 Feb 2005 01:14 GMT4
Sonya is STILL pregnant, but she looks like the little girl swallowed a
baseball.  Mike used his stethoscope and could hear all sorts of
heartbeats.  He let me listen but I could hear only one besides Sonya's.
Aw well, they'll arrive when they get here.
We pushed each other too far13 Feb 2005 01:07 GMT29
Otis and I went too far last night.
First, I'd been out until 11:30 PM at a meeting and then couldn't sleep
until sometime after 2:30 AM.  Then, I got up to go the bathroom, *then* my
husband got up to go to work at 5:15 AM.
