Pics of the backyard Black Cat and some of Sam02 Jan 2005 00:11 GMT11
I managed to get a couple of pictures of the black cat that I'm feeding
in the back yard.  I had to use all 36X digital zoom to get anything
close so of the 10 I took only 2 were really decent and one is a little
blurry but give a good indication of her/his size.  This is a ...
[OT] Jump London???02 Jan 2005 00:02 GMT6
OK, I just saw an advertisement on TV for a new show called "Jump London".
For my friends over in the UK, have you heard of this?  Is this a new fad
(jumping from rooftop to rooftop)?  What's this all about????
Hugs,
The Chronicles of Frank VI01 Jan 2005 23:52 GMT11
Frank is disgusted with his hoomin, since she has had another bout of
pop-pop-pop fever, and now he demanded I do something useful instead, so
I am taking dictation again as the tail of his life unfolds.
"During my long life, I have observed hoomins closely and one of their
Not a nice sibling moment01 Jan 2005 23:01 GMT7
As most in here know, my "kids" are Felix [longish-haired brown tabby,
neutered male, believed to be part Maine Coon, about 11 years old] and
Ava [ringneck dove, female, age unknown, but she has not grown
significantly since her arrival two years ago so we infer she was an
Sammy Video01 Jan 2005 22:35 GMT11
OK, naturally just because we wanted her to do it we couldn't get Jessie to
chase the red dot greeble round in circles, but we got a short clip of Sammy
chasing it.
Please pardon the cheesy laugh track, but I just got this video editing
OT: Kitchen Tips01 Jan 2005 22:17 GMT41
Maybe Debbie can incorporate this into a section for the rpca "cookbook" :)
Please feel free to add anything you can think of.
1.  Keep flour, cornmeal, masa, etc. bug free by adding a bay leaf or two to
your package or cannister.  They don't like bay leaves (don't ask me why).
Cat Pan Liners - what's your take?01 Jan 2005 18:11 GMT28
Do you use litter pan liners?  I prefer to use them and like the kind that
fit entirely over the pan (like a garbage bag).  Those that I can turn
inside out so the litter and 'deposits' fall inside and dump every week
(yes, I scoop and replenish litter daily).

Please don't hate me.   I have discovered more bubble games.   Just the
thing for the holidays.

The games are Bubble Chase, Bubble Wrap and Tic Tac Bubble
more Sam news01 Jan 2005 17:53 GMT3
We have started to let Sam out of his room when we are home. He is enjoying
being out in the house. I have a mirror at the bottom of the stairs and as
he comes down he can see himself. He will stop and look at the other "cat".
When he gets to the bottom he will stop and  look up ...
I don't get it01 Jan 2005 17:43 GMT10
Oscar is unimpressed by the fishing pole type toys (stick to string to
feathers, etc).  She'll chase thrown items, but loses interest the moment they
land.  I've tried for years to interest her in various toys and games, to no
avail.  I figured she just wasn't into jumping, flipping ...
Such a cheeky little begger01 Jan 2005 17:27 GMT28
Have I mentioned to you that lately we've had a visitor to the wildlife
feeding stations? This one is especially attracted to the foxes' food
which consists of meat and/or canned dog food.  This little visitor is a
long-haired black cat which recently has been getting its own ...
Vet Tech Journals 21 New Year's Eve01 Jan 2005 17:09 GMT3
Sigh......
Another New Years with just me, the kitties and a bottle of
champagne.....
Just my luck that I would draw the short stick and be chosen to work
Demi Movie01 Jan 2005 16:58 GMT2
For those of you who have only seen the tip of her tail as she skidded under
the bed...

Cat Food - Again, Sigh!01 Jan 2005 16:35 GMT3
OK, on my vet's advice (after they did a geriactric work-up on Bandit and
found she was "not concentrating her urine" as well as she should be), I
went out and bought canned food for my crew.  I got the "Innova" and samples
of all the other premium brands, including Science Diet ...
OT wild life in Yala/Sri Lanka ok01 Jan 2005 16:03 GMT3
With all the destruction and so many lost lives in Sri Lanka it seems that
all the wild animals in Yala National Park are ok. I know we have mentioned
Yala here before and that some of you know it. I visited the park some 10
years ago and had the privilige to see lepoards, apart ...
