| Cat shadows | 05 Jan 2005 19:56 GMT | 11 |
Every once in a while, I will think a cat is approaching me... I'll look around - no one there. Does anyone else get cat shadows? I do get cat *ghosts* for about a year after they go to the RB. The kind

| Purrs for potential new DH :)) | 05 Jan 2005 18:59 GMT | 24 |
If this dream comes true I'll be overjoyed. Looks like it *is* going to happen, and soon. I just need to find a house/catsitter so I can visit him in south Florida. Any spare purrs toward that goal would be most heartily welcomed. It's been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely time!

| Cat Food Discussion | 05 Jan 2005 17:38 GMT | 47 |
OK, I'm hoping that on this group we can have this discussion without starting a flame war (as happened on H+B). I'd really like to get some feedback (pardon the pun) on what you guys have experienced regarding wet food vs. dry.

| Cleaning the litter box | 05 Jan 2005 07:54 GMT | 6 |
Got some new pan liners yesterday and more clumping litter. I find it gets tracked around less than the big clay stuff which HURTS when you step on it. And Persia doesn't like the crystal stuff, although she's very good about using whatever I buy. She's such a sweet, adaptable ...

| Frozen pipes | 05 Jan 2005 07:50 GMT | 13 |
When I tried to use the water this morning, there was nothing there. I thawed a section of pipe that I believed was sufficiently insulated (burned my hand in the process), and it has a huge leak. So much for my new plumbing, and it's back to hauling water

Well, Purrs to CatNipped for instigating one of the LONGEST threads I've ever seen in a NG. Just to lighten the mood I dug up this little gem.... It was origionally preformed by Rick Mercer on a Canadian political humor show called 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes'. A couple of ...

| oscar's new habit | 05 Jan 2005 02:57 GMT | 5 |
Like many people, my bladder feels pretty full in the early morning, and I struggle between the need to get up and go and the desire not to wake up. A lot of times, I manage to keep myself asleep until the alarm rings. Apparently, Oscar has other ideas.
