| A Windy Night | 12 Jan 2005 11:53 GMT | 18 |
It was a very windy night, last night, here in northern britain. Lying in bed I could hear it howling through the trees outside. I'm sure Snoopy increased the volume of her purr to drown out the noise of the wind, she just about succeeded.

Both of my girls came home with great litterbox habits, they're lovely girls, very proper and elegent and regal. The boy... He needs a bath. We don't have to worry about hairballs for Jinglebell. Not

| 1/2 OT, & apropos of nothing | 12 Jan 2005 11:20 GMT | 16 |
Does anybody here read the Rita Mae Brown cat/dog mystery series? I get a huge kick out of them, & always look forward to a new one. In the series, all the animals (and there are quite a few) can talk to each other. Since the humans have such inferior senses of hearing, sight, &

I'm finally down to fewer than 100 unread messages! ... so I felt the need to add to everyone else's backlog. Er, sorry 'bout that.

| Vet Visit | 12 Jan 2005 06:40 GMT | 13 |
Well, after a week of trying to treat the punk's conjunctivitis herbally, I went to the Vet this morning. As I suspected, they both have a mild upper respitory infection. So they're now on a week of Interferon & Pentamycetin. I won't let Chablis have a word... She'd just say ...

Stupid lawyer tricks... I just saw an advertisement on TV by an ambulance chaser where he was standing in front of the camera and said, "If you have been involved in a serious car wreck with a drunk driver or 18-wheeler, electrocution, or any

| I might have to send in a rescue team | 12 Jan 2005 01:17 GMT | 17 |
http://tinyurl.com/3lft5 I don't know how he fit himself in there. The others in the pride are a bit concerned. If he can't figure out how to squeeze his growing body out of there, I might have to send in a rescue team.

| The Insensitive and Uncaring families Rant | 12 Jan 2005 00:49 GMT | 143 |
Sherry's post reminded me of this painful Christmas experience. There's a reason I divorced myself from my idiot sister and her family. For what it is worth, this is the same sister that turned me into Child Protective Service for refusing to Baptize Jason in the Lutheran ...

| Billy Boy TW | 11 Jan 2005 23:29 GMT | 39 |
When my sister died her son and his wife took Billy Boy to live with them. They all adored him, particularly little 7-year-old Samantha who lives with them also. Lois bred Billy Boy and he was a beautiful lilac Burmese.

Ok, downloaded a jpeg. editing program.... Simple one.... loading Photoshop 7.0 just seemed too much like work, the last link will no longer work, as I deleted that substandard attempt. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/winesnob007/my_photos

| I think Fritzie wants to say something | 11 Jan 2005 22:05 GMT | 9 |
My husband has been giving me gentle nudges, the kind frequently accompanied by a coal shovel or well-placed boot, to get my pen and keister in gear and write something whose working title is "Cat: A Memoir." We have been discussing it for several months, and only last

"Catharsis" did a week of "Understanding Cats with special guest speaker Dr. Baxter". (Baxter is a cartoon squirrel.) Each day's comic is a photo of one or two kittens doing kitten things along with commentary by Baxter, and sometimes counter comments by Aya (the cat

| OT - Pictures of diving trip | 11 Jan 2005 21:09 GMT | 9 |
I finally got around to making an album of our recent diving trip to the Similan Islands. This area was hit by the tsunami a week after we left, but due to the fact that the islands are largely uninhabited, most of the damage was probably to the scenery. I feel very lucky to

| Anybody else outraged over this "lawyer"?? | 11 Jan 2005 18:18 GMT | 17 |
The statements this so-called lawyer makes, just...... yanks my chain, in a manner of speaking. I wanna warn him to *never* enter any of my property, because, if he need be reminded, humans are animals too. http://www.theindychannel.com/news/4048909/detail.html
