| something's strange ... | 13 Jan 2005 06:57 GMT | 17 |
This morning, I found Oscar sprawled out, belly on display, on her fuzzy cat bed. Now, I know that Oscar's belly is purely used as a lure for the unwary, but I couldn't help myself. I reached out and gently skritched her belly a few times before coming to my senses and withdrawing ...

I guess I should have figured with the flood next door that it would be our turn next. Sigh. Last night, I went into my closet to get a clean outfit -- only to

| Apologies and purr request | 13 Jan 2005 00:15 GMT | 34 |
Well, now it's happened to me, too. I simply don't have time to read everything on rpca, nor to post. I'm very sorry to have to do this, but I'll have to send blanket purrs, meatloaf meditations and dirty litterbox offerings to be distributed as needed. I have loads of work,

| Kitty Heimlich | 12 Jan 2005 19:37 GMT | 32 |
I was on the couch reading and snacking on some melba toast rounds. I wasn't paying attention; Persia knocked one out of my hand and ran off with it. She took a bite and started chewing on the piece. Unfortunately, she tried to swallow it before she chewed it up. She started ...

| The new toy | 12 Jan 2005 15:19 GMT | 7 |
Today I stopped in PetSmart to get some catfood. As i stood in line, I noticed a hanging rack with a new kind of laser pointer. I had tried one several years ago and my cats weren't interested. But this one was different; smaller, but brighter and it had another end-piece to make
