Another OT Venting14 Jan 2005 15:40 GMT37
Forgive me, particularly Bridget who nearly lost her beloved father.  Don't
get me wrong, I love my father dearly.
However, mine has just informed me no way in HELL will he help me pay my
bills.  Said he's done far enough for me and that's the end of it and I
Who's gonna be the alpha cat?14 Jan 2005 14:49 GMT3
My poor Oreo. He's the 'baby' of the pride (just over two years old)
and he is trying so hard to be the alpha cat. My big boy ('Cosmo') is

An aawwww moment14 Jan 2005 14:14 GMT7
The other evening I was relaxing in bed with a good book, accompanied by
Bandit and Snowball curled up alongside, with Pericles snoozing on my
desk chair nearby (my office is in my bedroom thanks to lack of space
elsewhere).

Nan was very into her "charity" work, in that she donated to everyone
and everything. Therefore, even though she has been at rainbow bridge
Eeeek - I have a new Digital Camera14 Jan 2005 08:40 GMT13
I am scared!!!    I have this new monster that I need to master.  In
about a month we are going away to the South Island of New Zealand for
two weeks where we will record all the beauty of mountains and bush

Panther update--goodbye Splint!14 Jan 2005 07:03 GMT10
O Kaloo Kalay, O Frabjous Day! Mr. Splinty has gone away!
The soft bandage has not, and we have one more bandage chage to go next
week, as Dr. McKenzie doesn't want to just remove all support until Pan has
had a chance to build some muscle tone back in his leg.  But the x-ray
OT: Fires in Australia?14 Jan 2005 06:39 GMT6
I just spotted something on another NG about a fire problem in the
Adelaide area. Are all our Australians accounted for?

[OT} Puzzle thats driving us nuts14 Jan 2005 05:27 GMT64
For Christmas, my parents were given a Mensa calender with a puzzle for each
day. They haven't opened it yet, but the sample question was:
A toy shop prices toys on the whim of the owner:
A doll is $12, a kite $15, a skateboard $34, and a ring toss $24. How much

I got a call this morning for an interview on Wednesday. It's with the

I'm wanting to do with my life (I'll keep looking for full-time

What happened to Joyce?13 Jan 2005 21:22 GMT6
Does anybody know what happened to Joyce Wermont?  I haven't seen a
post from her since well before Christmas.  I thought she might be on
vacation but figure if that was it, she would be back by now.  I hope
she didn't leave the group because of all that political BS that was
Frank on catnip13 Jan 2005 21:19 GMT11
I gave the cats some catnip tonight. Strew some on the floor, and then
rubbed some into Frank's piggy. Here he is with his piggy at the height
of his trip:

I have managed to completely alienate my lastborn  I finally had to stick up

PvPOnline is a comic about people who play computer games.  The two characters
in this strip are the loveable-but-not-so-smart troll and his genius kitten,
who is plotting to take over the world.  No, it really has nothing to do ...
