Murder Most Feline19 Jan 2005 15:19 GMT1
The above-titled book is still at my house, waiting for the next person to
request it.  For those who don't remember, or didn't see previous mentions,
it is a collection of short stories.  They don't actually all contain
murders, but they all involve a mystery and/or courtroom drama ...
Vet Tech Journals19 Jan 2005 08:35 GMT10
I think this is entry 22 or 23, it's hard to keep track.
I got reminded on just how big Maine Coon kitties are.
Moose is back and he's a good 17 pounds.  He acts all sweet and
innocent with that cute little meow of his, but when I took him out to
# 3 into the Miles house. :)19 Jan 2005 07:15 GMT16
Chatter the Calico has left home, and my ex-foster kitty Cleo got home
tonight. :) The reports I got from her adoptive mommy was that she had
spent the entire 6 weeks she had been in her adoptive home, hiding under
the bed, sneaking out for food late at night, biting everyone and ...
Blue Cat19 Jan 2005 04:52 GMT37
I just visited a cat who has just been shipped home as part of a move. He
arrived just fine after two flights. I had been told he was a handsome
(well, aren't they all?) grey cat, and assumed, well, mostly grey stripes
or something. He's blue, like those lovely cats we've been ...
Purrs for Archie19 Jan 2005 04:25 GMT27
I got sad news from my daughter's grade 1 teacher today.  Last week, her cat
Archie raced out of the house when Kate was leaving to go to school.  Then
Fox raced out.  Kate was able to get Fox but Archie had gone under a
neighbour's steps and she couldn't catch him.  I had ...

[OT] Yoga Enthusiasts?19 Jan 2005 03:55 GMT12
Sorry I haven't been posting very much lately.  I'm still working 14 - 16
hours a day 7 days a week and trying to get in my exercising, physical
therapy, and learning yoga in all my spare time!!  ;>  I'm still sending
purrs for all who need them, and trying to at least spot check ...
Snoring18 Jan 2005 21:01 GMT16
Do your cats snore?  Kitty is in the next room stretched out in front of the
fire and I can hear her snoring from here.
Is this normal?

A friend just sent me a link to this site; I think everyone on this
newsgroup will appreciate it ;-)
Be sure to have your volume turned up for this - not to deafening levels,
just audible ones.
OT: Job decision purr request18 Jan 2005 18:20 GMT30
The development director at Tom's workplace has decided to leave for
greener pastures and it's very likely Tom will be offered her job. It
seems like a good opportunity, since it puts Tom in a direct path to
CEO, which is the long-term plan anyway. The downside is that as the
You'd think I'd know better18 Jan 2005 17:14 GMT23
I think it was Baha who said that the natural prey of  housecats was
the domestic ham sandwich.  Well, we just returned from the market
where we had found a butt end of ham on sale.  I was doing my usual
number on it, slicing off thick juicy ham steaks when my back needed a
Hooray! Mama Likes Me Again!18 Jan 2005 17:10 GMT8
I gess yoo were all right about me smelling like the nasty vet. Over the
weekend, Mama decided I was her baby, and will now cuddle up with me, and
play with me, again!  She doesn't growl or hiss at me ennymore, and she
doesn't bop me on the hed with her feet, either!

Rusty's prgoress18 Jan 2005 09:41 GMT8
Thanks for all the purrs.
Rusty has been doing well after 2 weeks on Clomicalm. No more peeing or
pooping on the floor. He was also switched to canned prescription I/D for
his diarrhea.
Purr request for Sam18 Jan 2005 09:18 GMT21
Sam is spending the next few hours in an oxygen cage at the emergency
clinic and could sure use some purrs.  I arrived there about 2 hours ago
with Sam in acute respiratory distress and the assumption at the moment
is he's probably has asthma.  The vet can't get satisfactory ...
