I was just wondering how everyone was doing in your home.  You may have

Waffles & Francis are taking it in turns to give me some TLC. Somehow,
yesterday I've done *something* to my right hip/leg and I am hobbling like an
old crone. It is painful. Waffles & Francis are taking it in turns to sit on
the affected leg & purr loudly. Waffles is doing a bit of ...
Moscow Winter20 Jan 2005 12:15 GMT3
During the one of the worst years of the horror of the Russian
Revolution, 1920, many people froze and starved to death, even in
their apartments in Moscow. It was a prime lesson on what can happen

Purrs for a birdie20 Jan 2005 09:16 GMT7
I went to take the trash out and found a beautiful adult female cardinal
dead near my back door.  No signs of an animal having got to her or trauma
from flying into something, it appears she simply expired.  (I picked her up
with paper, wrapped her and put her in the trash - no ...

The surgery went well, but they did *not* do it first thing this
morning, so he is having to spend another night, grrrr.  His surgery
was done this afternoon, though the *whole point* of taking him in last
night was so they could do his surgery first this morning, and we
Close to Youuuuuuu!20 Jan 2005 07:14 GMT4
I was awakened this morning by an unfamilar motion close to my head.
Stinky was on my pillow, as he often is, completely filling up my
vision as my eyes opened.  But this morning, he was hard at work,
maybe two inches from my head, facing me, one leg pointing straight
Purrs please: dad and Oscar20 Jan 2005 02:37 GMT48
Well, I didn't bother to check my messages at Steamboat, as no one ever calls,
anyway.  When I got home, I had four messages from my mom.  Apparently my dad
had a hole in his intestine and had 8 inches removed.  Congenital, they say.
He's on morphine and should be fine, but it's ...

Have you considered Australia?
According to the latest news, our unemployment rate is the lowest its been

Harri Roadcat becoming Harri Housecat19 Jan 2005 19:36 GMT6
The New Year's slowdown is fully upon the trucking industry. The one
beneficial effect of this is that Harri and I have been able to spend a
little more time at home. As she spends more time with the other four
Harri is becoming more and more at home with them.
Rusty's progress No. 219 Jan 2005 17:49 GMT10
Only a few days after Rusty finished his medication, he started
peeing on the floor again. Sigh!
I just talked to the vet and he agreed that Rusty should go back on the
Clomicalm - an antidepressant.  He is going to see if he can find a generic
