IBKFergus isn't black23 Jan 2005 04:25 GMT11
IBKFergus isn't actually black. Sure, he looks 100% black except for close
up when you can see the odd white hair, but in certain light you can see
tabby stripes and spots. And this mornign while he was busy extracting his
daily blood sacrifice requirement from my hands, I saw that ...
Catmousepad23 Jan 2005 02:17 GMT19
Since I've started using a wireless laser mouse (Logitech MX1000), I don't
need a mousepad.
This is a good thing, because when my house was looted, they even stole the
mousepad.

Harvey's latest misadventures22 Jan 2005 21:28 GMT4
Harvey sees me by the green chair. Knowing this is a good place to get some
pettin's he runs over before he misses out. But being who he is, he gets a bit
too much momentum and falls off the other side.
He emerges, dignified look saying 'I meant to do that'. Then he calmly hops on

(OT) Jumping Into the Void (Quitting Smoking)22 Jan 2005 19:12 GMT50
Gulp.
Here I go.
Tomorrow, I am quitting smoking.  And because I am posting it here for
all of you to see, I *have* to do it!
Welcome kilikini22 Jan 2005 18:52 GMT12
I've invited a friend of mine, kilikini, to join us here in RPCA.  She just
adopted (rescued, actually) two recently born outdoor kittens and is turning
them into well-cared for indoor kitties.  She's having some problems with
her ISP regarding timely posts and replies, but she's ...
Tomorrow's the day!22 Jan 2005 17:20 GMT11
Hooray! Dance of joy! Tomorrow evening, after work, I get to pick up the
kitties from the animal shelter!
I can't wait! :o)
I will be sure to post pics, as well as their names, ASAP. As soon as I'm
Treed Raccoon update TW22 Jan 2005 11:01 GMT38
I went down to check on the raccoon, he was still in the tree. I watched for
a while as (the view revealed his sex) he licked and groomed himself but
didn't seem afraid of me or urgent to get down. Thinking he may have been
hurt by the dogs before going up, and thus unable to climb ...

My Sweet Baby!!!22 Jan 2005 04:19 GMT25
DH is off today and I had to call him to ask a favor of his web search
skills.  He put me on speakphone so he could type while he talked.  He said
soon afterwards Sammy came streaking into the room, jumped on the desk, laid
her whole (BIG!) body over the phone and started ...
GW: UDO (Unidentified Dead Object)22 Jan 2005 01:54 GMT10
My little baby Frank, needy little Frank has killed something in the garage.
Not just killed it, he massacred it. I can't even tell what it was, but it is
much much bigger than a mouse. I can't clean this up. And I can clean up about
anything.

This morning was yet another gloriously sunny Spring morning in deepest rural
Norfolk. So once again I nagged, encouraged, Vernon and Nathan that we really
Shamrock loses his throne; Story at 1122 Jan 2005 00:09 GMT2
The time has finally come when Shamrock can't rule with an iron paw.
He came running at Rhett, howling like he does when he's going to pin
down a kitten. Rhett didn't even roll onto his back like he normally
does; he just rolled on his side and pawed lightly at Shamrock, who
First day on the job purrs?22 Jan 2005 00:02 GMT22
I'm starting a 4-6 month temp assignment today, and could use purrs
for a good first day, if anyone's got a few to spare :-). [Ava's been
cooing her beak off this morning, and when I check in with Felix,
who's busy being a bed kitty with Dad, he power-purrs.]
