Darn Cave Crickets!31 Jan 2005 23:08 GMT17
I don't know how to keep them out of my house.  Persia usually hunts down
the "hoppy bugs".  But a while ago she went to her Drinkwell fountain.  It's
in my bedroom and it was dark in there.  I walked in and flipped on the
light, expecting to see her on the bed.  She was crouched in ...
Baby Eyes loves CN31 Jan 2005 20:57 GMT9
Baby Eyes is the only one of my six owners who ever watches TV. She doesn't
do it often, but yesterday I guess she had an attack of TV-itis.
The news at noon was on as I was preparing to go into town for the
afternoon. Baby Eyes was on her chair in front of the TV and kept glancing
How do they do it?31 Jan 2005 08:54 GMT8
Another one of those questions. How do cats do it? The other day when my
sister visited me, she commented on how shiny white Frank's paws are.
That's not so strange, as he spends a lot of time grooming and looking
after his fur. What I do find amazing is that cats with a white ...

'Cat in an Empty Apartment'
Die-you can't do that to a cat.
Since what can a cat do
Off for a while31 Jan 2005 03:12 GMT20
I'm flying to Davenport IA and expect to be back Saturday.  My SIL is
dying.  She was moved to hospice care yesterday and they are removing
all life support today.  Death expected by tomorrow.
Would appreciate purrs for her and especially for my brother and their
AARRRRGgggghhhh31 Jan 2005 02:59 GMT13
Why does Pearl hate it when I sing and play guitar??? I am trying to write a
song (and REALLY, I am not bad at all) and she just HATES it. She comes up
on me and stares at me intensely and pulls at my had with her paw and bites
at me. She seems extremely concerned. Even if I try to ...

I reached down and picked up Bonnie. And she let me.
That is all. :)

Terrifying Toy!30 Jan 2005 16:58 GMT16
Someone gave me a toy for Persia.  It's call the Thing in a Bag.  Has a ball
inside it with a cable attached to a battery box velcro'd to the bag.  The
bag itself is the size of a lunch bag and also seals shut with velcro.  I
had my doubts but figured I'd give it a shot.  I put ...
The Talented Roxie30 Jan 2005 16:37 GMT3
It seems that athletics and stealth-ham-theft are not enough for our
overachieving Roxie. Now she aspires to opera.
Louie and I sing. We hooked up at a karaoke joint, did karaoke for our
wedding instead of the traditional first dance, and still go out
Any other 'startled jumpers'?30 Jan 2005 09:21 GMT20
I know that some might think it's 'cruel', but as a true 'cat person' I
absolutely HAVE to play on this 'idiosynchrosy'(?) of my boy, Oreo - I
think it's a cat companion LAW to F**K with their heads.
I discovered that, if I sit quietly watching TV, with all the lights
Memphis and the plumber!30 Jan 2005 02:50 GMT12
Had a visit from the plumber today, he rang the doorbell, and as soon as I
opened it, Memphis shot out of the hall, into the lounge and under the sofa.
That took some doing as he is a big cat. He stayed there for ages. The
plumber went away to get something. Came back a while ...

I had picked up Imp this morning and giving him some scritches when I
noticed his bald spot on his right shoulder.
Some of you might rememebr that I had found this bald spot after Xmas.
It's not red or scaly or anything, but it has two tiny marks in the
Jason's rather upset.30 Jan 2005 00:35 GMT40
Today, poor Jason, hasn't been happy.  Instead of spending the best
part of the day as he usually does, asleep on a sheepskin on top of my
husband's scanner (which he's not used for sometime), he's been on
many searches of is house and garden,  After each fruitless one, he
Thank You29 Jan 2005 23:55 GMT1
Dear Friends,
I am truly grateful for the replies to my post about Jason and Peter
and thank you very much for taking the trouble to write.
To those of you who would at this time like some purrs, (whether for
Finally back!29 Jan 2005 23:21 GMT7
Hi!  I'm back, after almost a week with no computer, with new memory and a
working computer.  I was suffering considerably, especially since my
satellite TV started acting up the day before my computer quit working.
It's a good thing I like to read!
