Does anyone know how to block a specific user in Yahoo Instant
Messenger? Some jerk just IMed me with a proposition I'd have found
obnoxious if I *weren't* married!

Early morning caller25 Dec 2004 02:47 GMT3
I'm lying in bed this morning, petting Little Feet. Dulce Mae is still
inside - in the bathroom drinking from the bathtub faucet. Senyah and
I are just sort of dozing.
Suddenly, Senyah turns to me and says, "There's a cat crying outside."
EEEEKKKK!!!  SNOW!!!!25 Dec 2004 02:42 GMT1
I saw snow, I saw *snow*, *I SAW SNOW*!!!!
DH got me a *really* nice CD/MP3 player for my car for Christmas, so,
naturally, we had to go to Fry's Electronics to get a CD/DVD burner for the
computer.  On the way the we were doing the normal 85 MPH on a Houston
ICE ICE ICE ICE!!!!25 Dec 2004 02:37 GMT4
Yep, they predicted snow so of course we're being hit with some really nasty
sleet.  It sounds like popping corn outside!
Looks like a winter wonderland but it's actually an icy wondermess.  I'm
glad I went to the store while it was still just raining.  In a few short
At last25 Dec 2004 02:32 GMT9
The tree is up, lights on it and it is decorated with huge numbers of shiny
baubles.
Any bets on how long it's going to last before a certained striped Psycho Cat
From H*ll destroys it?
Happy Xmas from New Zealand25 Dec 2004 00:02 GMT2
Have a lovely Xmas all my friends - purrs and prayers to all sick people
and kitties and in particular I am thinking of Berfert.
Big hugs to all,

Santa came early! 24 Dec 2004 23:33 GMT4
I am an exceedlingly lucky woman. yesterday Vernon announced he was taking me
to Cambridge today and wouldn't tell me why. I moaned and whinged about it,
having loads of things to do on Christmas Eve... So I got up this morning and
went out to collect the turkey just after 7am... ...
Fully engrossed24 Dec 2004 23:25 GMT18
I have never seen a kitten able to get so completely engrossed in playing.
This morning we were headed to a pickup, and Harri was in the overhead
playing with stuff. She decided that one of my towels was being
especially bad and needed to be disciplined, so she grabbed it with ...
Pan Fried Fish (aka She Came RUNNING)24 Dec 2004 22:39 GMT8
I had a couple of very small tilapia fillets so I dredged them lightly with
cornflake crumbs, sprinkled with salt & pepper.  Browned them in canola oil.
The minute the fish hit the pan (and no, it wasn't so hot it sizzled) Persia
dashed from the back of the apartment, where she was ...
Please light a candle (GW, TW, Abuse Warning)24 Dec 2004 22:19 GMT19
Please light a candle for a little gray tabby who went to the RB this
afternoon.  We'd never seen him before, but he appeared on our
neighbors' porch, terribly hurt.  Our neighbors came and got us (they
thought it was Tiger).  Most of his face was gone, but he let me pick

I can't imagine that I will ever catch up.  Been too much hospital in the
last few days, keeps me from reading!
Purrs for anyone who needs them that I've missed.

An idea to discuss (recipes/rpca emergency fund)24 Dec 2004 21:20 GMT57
I love it when a troll posts here. It means I get to try all kinds of
new food ideas from all over the world :-) But all the time I'm
thinking, with all this culinary talent we have, and the goodness of
rpca, we should get it all together in one place.
My dad's cat, Lucy24 Dec 2004 19:46 GMT1
We will be seeing my dad for Christmas, tomorrow, and I WILL be taking
my digital camera to get pictures of this little four-month-old doll.
I called yesterday, to see what the game plan is for Christmas, and
asked about Lucy.
New recruits to Bubbels24 Dec 2004 19:10 GMT4
My two nephews  (nearly 6 and nearly 11) came to visit yesterday.  They
enjoy it here, especially picking up branches and sticks for my woodburner,
but when that palls they like to play games on the computer.
So I fired up bubbels and explained how to play.  Apart from the noise ...
