Does anyone know how to block a specific user in Yahoo Instant
Messenger? Some jerk just IMed me with a proposition I'd have found
obnoxious if I *weren't* married!

I'm lying in bed this morning, petting Little Feet. Dulce Mae is still

DH got me a *really* nice CD/MP3 player for my car for Christmas, so,
naturally, we had to go to Fry's Electronics to get a CD/DVD burner for the

I am an exceedlingly lucky woman. yesterday Vernon announced he was taking me
to Cambridge today and wouldn't tell me why. I moaned and whinged about it,
having loads of things to do on Christmas Eve... So I got up this morning and
went out to collect the turkey just after 7am... ...

I have never seen a kitten able to get so completely engrossed in playing.
This morning we were headed to a pickup, and Harri was in the overhead
playing with stuff. She decided that one of my towels was being
especially bad and needed to be disciplined, so she grabbed it with ...

I had a couple of very small tilapia fillets so I dredged them lightly with
cornflake crumbs, sprinkled with salt & pepper.  Browned them in canola oil.
The minute the fish hit the pan (and no, it wasn't so hot it sizzled) Persia
dashed from the back of the apartment, where she was ...

Please light a candle for a little gray tabby who went to the RB this
afternoon.  We'd never seen him before, but he appeared on our
neighbors' porch, terribly hurt.  Our neighbors came and got us (they
thought it was Tiger).  Most of his face was gone, but he let me pick

I can't imagine that I will ever catch up.  Been too much hospital in the
last few days, keeps me from reading!

I love it when a troll posts here. It means I get to try all kinds of
new food ideas from all over the world :-) But all the time I'm
thinking, with all this culinary talent we have, and the goodness of
rpca, we should get it all together in one place.

We will be seeing my dad for Christmas, tomorrow, and I WILL be taking
my digital camera to get pictures of this little four-month-old doll.
I called yesterday, to see what the game plan is for Christmas, and
asked about Lucy.

My two nephews  (nearly 6 and nearly 11) came to visit yesterday.  They
enjoy it here, especially picking up branches and sticks for my woodburner,
but when that palls they like to play games on the computer.
So I fired up bubbels and explained how to play.  Apart from the noise ...
