Kittens, Diamonds and Prosthetic Eyes, Oh My!
CINCINNATI, Dec. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- If plumbers rewrote the song, "The 12
Days of Christmas," it might go something like this ... 4 baby kittens, 3
tree roots, 2 diamond rings and one prosthetic eyeball.
Lynxie sometimes meows in his sleep when I sneeze28 Dec 2004 00:40 GMT8
When I sneeze, and Lynxie's in deep sleep, he sometimes meows in his
sleep. The first time, I thought it might have been a coincidence
because I couldn't see how a sneeze could induce a sleep-meow, but now
that it's happened numerous times I must wonder...
Happy Holidays from Lynxie and Me!28 Dec 2004 00:37 GMT5
I wish ya'll a happy holiday, and may we all have many more.
Every year I like to take a "Christmas Photo" of Lynxie... It doesn't

Too Much SNOW!27 Dec 2004 23:10 GMT18
It's stopped snowing here in Scottsburg, Indiana. It turns out we were
in the middle of the heaviest snow band. I haven't heard a completely
official snowfall total yet, but local news is reporting 34 inches (a
bit over 86 cm) of snow on the ground with 5 foot (1.52 m) drifts. The

It's really wonderful being home again! Harri and I got home Thursday
morning, and now (Sunday night) we're anticipating going back on the

Cats and Dogs27 Dec 2004 21:39 GMT18
It is the state of the matter that the classic stereotype about cats and
dogs is that they are natural enemies. Like oil and water. This is true and

Texas snow27 Dec 2004 21:26 GMT7
We are having a white Christmas in Corpus Christi, TX, U.S.A.
This morning I took a picture of our house with snow on the palm trees.
Overnight we got from 3 to 4 inches (I'll let Hans do his own math).  It is
a record.

If you are tender-hearted, *DO NOT* rent this movie.  It was in the
*children's* section at Hollywood Video, so I thought it would be a touching
little movie about two tiger cubs.  I had to quit watching it, it literally
made me sick to my stomach.  The tigers being killed left and ...

Here I am, trying to relax on the back of mom's chair. She comes over and
sits down, interrupting my bath, and puts her head back. Horror of horrors!
She does NOT know how to take care of her head fur! Now I must spend some of
my precious grooming time cleaning HER head fur and ...

So here I am at airport security about to fly to Ontario, and the lady

"You wouldn't have a pair of pliers in here, would you?"
Me: "OF course not. It's books, socks, some toiletries, mitts and
