OT Firefox04 Dec 2004 17:53 GMT21
I have just downloaded Firefox as I seem to have a lot of trouble with
my old browser Netscape 4.7  A lot of pages refuse to come up.   I have
Netscape 7.1 but dislike its interface.   I know that a few people here
use Firefox and was wondering whether it has mail and newsgroups or ...
progress with  Sam04 Dec 2004 16:08 GMT7
Thursday night I held Sam for the first time. He wasn't real happy but did
relax a bit. Since then I have tried to hold him every day or so. We are
leaving the cage open all the time now. Last night he was playing in and
around the cat condo I put in the room. It is about 3 feet ...
BlueBird and LittleBit04 Dec 2004 06:43 GMT14
When I posted BlueBird's thanks for the holiday greeting cards, I forgot
a very important thing she wanted me to mention.
Some of you may remember that her cat, LittleBit, was having serious
kidney problems, and it appeared that he had crf.  Currently he is very
Christmas doesn't stand a chance at my house04 Dec 2004 04:45 GMT4
Hello, more stories from the house of Bear.  Bear is just a baby, only 7
months or so, and with more than his share of kitten cuteness.  (I shared
earlier about his gassy tendencies)  Well, he has another trait that has
manifested itself slowly over the months that is seriously ...
[OT] A Virtual Tour of My House - Please Come Visit Me04 Dec 2004 02:35 GMT66
As I told Karen in another post, despite the touch of shabbiness and the
work needed, I'm quite proud of our new (to us) home.  That post inspired me
to take tons of pictures and put up a "virtual tour" of the house.
[Besides, it's always a good idea to get a complete set of ...
Holiday cards04 Dec 2004 02:12 GMT6
The mail doesn't come early here any more.  If you want it before 8 a.m. you
have to pay an extra fee, so I don't.  I makes no difference to me whether
it arrives at 7 or noon.
Today I drove into work to say goodbye to a colleague who is leaving to move

No there isn't - it's called "PawSense"!
OT A thread for the brave...03 Dec 2004 23:31 GMT81
I'm a relative newcomer here so....dare I ask...how old are the folks
on here, for those who want to share?  Be as specific or general as
you please....
...and...how old do you think I am...
Sophie Cat Meets Captain Estonia03 Dec 2004 23:31 GMT1
This incident took place before Sophie Cat had her dignity compromised by
Sophie Dog (see earlier post), back when she had yet to be spayed. This was
a period of time characterized by people expressing shock and awe at the
*LOUD* yowls of lust that Sophie Cat when in heat would ...
Pan Update03 Dec 2004 22:09 GMT2
First, thank you ALL for all the kind wishes, they've truly helped me feel
better about this. Pan has been very quiet, not surprisingly, but today, he
managed to get up onto  his favorite spot, the living room window sill so
that he could catch some morning rays. He has a nice ...
Sesame update03 Dec 2004 21:35 GMT8
I wanted to write an update last night but my connection was a bit dodgy. We
got the blood test results back in a few hours which was good and kidneys
etc are all fine. So she went back in today to have the tooth removed.
I've just got back from the vet office (I'm in Perth and its ...
Eros and D*g content: my day at the humane society03 Dec 2004 20:30 GMT8
Part I: Dog content
I had a 9am meeting today, so I drove to work earlier than usual.  As I
was pulling into the parking lot, a full-grown golden retriever trotted
in front my car.  Not good.  Not only is this a high-traffic area, but
Nanki-Poo:  Clean bill of health03 Dec 2004 18:38 GMT18
Nanki-Poo went to TED for his follow-up visit today.  The doctor says he
is now a healthy cat, except for a small scratch on his nose, which may
have been inflicted by Lindy.  He weighs 8 3/4 pounds!  When I first got
him, it was 8 1/4.  Then, when he was so sick and not eating, he ...
Lots of Excitement03 Dec 2004 17:51 GMT2
There is a rat in the garage.  A large sleek brown field rat.  Quite a
pretty brown rat in fact.  It was brought to my attention my Molly and Jake
who had suddenly started acting like bird dogs over a corner in the garage.
Unfortunately I has the poor judgment to mention the cats ...
A girlfriend for Teti03 Dec 2004 17:46 GMT4
She has been here befor, and that visit resulted in four lovely, beautiful
kittens. Now she's coming back again, and hopefully the result will be about
the same this time.
There is one problem, though, Teti's mother. She is living here, too, and
