OT: but very important05 Dec 2004 18:42 GMT25
In one thread we are talking about security for our PC's. I mentioned
that Microsoft has released a major security update for Internet
Explorer. It seems to be quite important for people who are using the
affected versions of the software.
Well Glory Hallelujah05 Dec 2004 16:08 GMT4
Cleared the damn bubbel screen at 25300 and ended up with 50630. Now I never
have to play that stupid game again!
OT: Parade05 Dec 2004 14:18 GMT2
I think it was Karen that asked for a piccie of the dog suits I made for the
Christmas parade today. My camera batteries went dead, and I only got one pic,
but if you can kinda see the suit on the little dog being held by the giant cat
in the middle. It says "Please Adopt Me" on the ...
Needy when it rains05 Dec 2004 11:17 GMT4
Does anyone else's cat get all pitiful and needy when it rains?  My
Bartleby, a large, very strong "alpha male" type, gets all pathetic when it
rains.  He doesn't go outside, so it's not like he's all sad that he can't
go out.  He gets very lovey with me, curls up on my lap, ...
What's Happening?05 Dec 2004 10:43 GMT21
Suddenly political posts are appearing in the guise of our regular posters,
in reply to threads about cats; said replies have nothing to do with cats.
I've noticed some other posters original on topic posts are appearing double
where they weren't here that way before.  Does someone ...
Thanks from BlueBird05 Dec 2004 10:37 GMT1
I spoke to BlueBird a while ago.  She wanted me to thank everyone here
who sends her Christmas cards.  She has already started receiving cards
this year, and she says it makes her day!
She is spending most of her time in bed these days.  She's in a lot of
Sabra Scare and Frustration05 Dec 2004 10:30 GMT26
I'm about at my wit's end here.
If you'll recall, Sabra decided he did not want to eat a few weeks
ago.  A trip to the vet revealed nothing obvious -- blood work was
fine, no diabetes, no CRF, no liver problems.  Remarkably good for a
Wishes and purrs for Chatter...05 Dec 2004 10:16 GMT23
As is protocol, because Chatter came into foster care from weird
circumstances - she was supposedly *found* by a guy who kept changing
his story to the different members of CP he spoke to. As the story
didn't add up, and we suspected that Chatter had been "cat-napped", we
[OT] Dial-up Connections05 Dec 2004 08:54 GMT5
I'm thinking of dropping my ISP. I don't really use their newsfeed (I
use the German one), and I have access to other sources of email
addresses, but what I don't have is a connection other than the one
provided by the ISP.
Rhett is a nose and lip chewer05 Dec 2004 01:30 GMT11
When I snuggle this kitten, he puts his face up to mine and bites my
lip. When I laugh, he goes for my nose.

Blue kittens are here05 Dec 2004 01:23 GMT42
My niece's cat Kira had her kittens yesterday. She (my niece) sent me a pic:

Buster's vocabulary05 Dec 2004 00:41 GMT11
As long as Buster has been with us, I have frequently heard him go to
the window and demand "Meout!", with insistent head gestures to
emphasise his point.
When he's inside, he likes to sit in my lap, especially when I'm at
Vet Tech Journals 17 (long)05 Dec 2004 00:08 GMT8
I think I'm on number 17, but it's been so long I haven't kept track.
Anyways, sorry I haven't been keeping up to date, but I've been busy
with school, work and springboard diving.  Also after a while the same
things tend to go on at work.
Oscar goes to the vet04 Dec 2004 22:53 GMT8
Oscar hasn't been to the vet in several years; my Virginia vet didn't think
cats needed to do annual checkups.  Her vaccinations were almost up, though,
so I made an appointment with the same vet that saw Eros, which is to say, an
acquaintance of ours.
Can't keep up04 Dec 2004 22:50 GMT3
I was busy today, and when I got back to the group there were 168 unread.
Aaargh.
I'll try and keep up with purrs and prayers and the odd post that strikes me
that I'd like to reply to it.
