How to be popular (with cats)10 Dec 2004 01:21 GMT9
Step 1: Put on polar fleece sweatpants.
Step 2: Prepare lox (smoked slamon) and cream cheese on a bagel.
Step 3: Sit down on the sofa with the bagel, thereby creating a fleecy lap.
Result: Instant lap cat(s)!

If anyone here is a fan of high quality animation, may I suggest you
pick up a copy of Disney's DVD box set GARGOYLES:  The Complete First
Season.  If nothing else, you can see me and DP in the bonus feature
about the Gathering of the Gargoyles.  The two of us had stories

I was sent an email called "A Spy" which some of you may have already
seen.  I can't identify the source so I've copied the file and put it
onto a site that you an see. It is too cute!  You can see it at:

Pet Stories09 Dec 2004 18:34 GMT16
This morning's episode of "Pet Stories" on Animal Planet was about
truckers who "take their four-legged friends on the road with them".
There were all sorts of drivers profiled (solo and with partners (and
with partners who are spouses)), with all sorts of cab arrangements,

I am so excited! If things work out tomorrow, I'm getting a new truck. A
metallic blue Canyon. The salesman is a smart one.  He sent me home with
it last night.  You see I currently drive a GMC Typhoon.  GMC made them
in 1992 and 1993 and only made about 4,000 each year so there ...
Scout's turn at the TED09 Dec 2004 16:39 GMT6
Last wednesday we took Silver in and it cost $66 for an appointment,
some eye drops and an antibiotic. Today it was Scout's turn... I was
worried she'd try and run away when I took her out of the carrier, but
she was more interested in hiding as far back in it as she could. She

DH and I are going out of town for a few days; please don't talk as
much as usual while I'm gone, as I have a hard enough time keeping up
as it is.   :-)
I would like to say that we'll still be sending out purrs to those who

It's a Bast*rd Cat Trick!
I haven't played in a while, as I've gotten too close to the end, too many
times. But I decided to try it again this afternoon, despite having a
nagging headache. The first few games were rather pitiful, as I wasn't

Hi all.  I haven 't been in the group for years but used to post here ages
ago.  I have 2 Himmies that are now 9.  I don't know how they got that old
as I haven't aged a bit.  Ha Ha.
One thing I noticed is that they are now accustomed to my decorating and

Purrsuing Christmas09 Dec 2004 03:29 GMT7
The cats KNOW.  The house and yard decorations are out, the cats are
told to keep out of stuff, the D-thing is kept either outside or out of
the room, and the Paw is schlepping around the house grumping about
having that old biddy make him decorate again.  Yep, its Kissamouse
Huge improvement!09 Dec 2004 03:25 GMT9
