Kitten rug13 Dec 2004 08:57 GMT8
A friend send me this picture, which I put on my website so you
all can see it:

Can this possibly be a genuine photo? I suspect Photoshop was
Duffy in the Christmas Tree13 Dec 2004 04:02 GMT7
I'm just posted two photos of Duffy in alt.binaries.pictures.animals.  The
photos are not good quality, but they show Duffy in one of his favorite
modes -- climbing anything in sight.  I had just set up the Christmas tree
and hadn't even had time to separate the branches, but it ...
Odessa, you little brat!13 Dec 2004 03:47 GMT11
Odessa has lately been playing Tease the Twolegs, the object being to
make us chase her about and earn the right to pet her. She'll let us
give her the briefest stoke, the tiniest head-scratch, and she'll pop
off a few feet away and look back, daring us to follow. It'll turn into
Book Exchange Offer: Murder Most Feline13 Dec 2004 01:47 GMT3
Magic Mood Jeep sent me a book of short stories - cat stories - entitled
'Murder Most Feline'.  I enjoyed this read on American Thanksgiving Day
whilst others were watching American football and parades, etc.  I loved the
stories!
[OT] Yowlet Update13 Dec 2004 00:26 GMT10
Cary is now 8 months old. He can't crawl yet, but knows how to pivot on his
tummy, and then roll to get wherever he need to go. Fluffy has learnt his
faceoften has a good source of scroungable food and that Cary doesn't mind
being licked so much as we do. so Cary usually has a clean ...
DAMN YOU Seanette! (22,630)12 Dec 2004 22:43 GMT4
Just finished a rousing game of Bubbels. Final score was 24,170 after the
doubling. Mostly luck I'm afraid. Although I do hit restart a few times
trying to get a colour distribution I like.

What was she trying to tell me?12 Dec 2004 21:07 GMT20
Harri and I spent the last half of Saturday and all of Sunday morning
sitting at a truckstop outside of Phoenix waiting to pick up a load for
El Paso. We picked it up yesterday and delivered this morning. When we
were done we headed for the truck stop in Anthony, TX. It had been
OT- Going scuba diving12 Dec 2004 21:05 GMT8
Dennis and I are taking off tomorrow for a scuba trip.  We'll be
spending 4 nights on a boat in the Similan Islands north of Phuket.
Very excited!  We've been wanting to do a trip like this for years but
the timing has never worked out.  Hopefully we get a good bunch of
Bubbels theory12 Dec 2004 20:45 GMT11
I have a new theory on Bubbels. You see those multi-coloured creatures
at the bottom of the screen? I think those are Bubbels greeblings. This
is all a greebling plot to capture and hypnotize all cat slaves in the
world so that they will neglect their masters, and then when the ...
Mischief found the heater.12 Dec 2004 16:36 GMT18
Yes, it's been cold and chilly, so I've been cranking up the heat.
Well I was picking something that fell off my desk when I noticed a cat
all streeeeeeeeeeched out in front of the heater.
Awwwwwwwwww!!!!!!
Things that make you go hmmmm.....12 Dec 2004 16:26 GMT1
One of the presents Waffles sent Frank consists of two furry balls tied
together with a string. When you dangle them from the string, they look
like something Frank lost long ago in his snip-snip. I hope Waffles
isn't trying to tell Frank he's not man enough for her...
Pawn Shops? OT12 Dec 2004 16:15 GMT11
Forgive me, please, but I've always considered pawn shops to be sort of a
low-life thing.  Like some unsavory guy hawking his wife's jewelry to score
drugs or buy booze :)
Well.  I'm considering pawning some jewelry.  It's not jewelry with any
Chickens12 Dec 2004 13:24 GMT3
There's a mother hen on my back verandah. There are several young ones
scratching aroung my backyard.
They're not my chickens. I hope they go home soon because I've got four
cats lined up with their noses pressed against the back window who all
Purrs for our Redtails12 Dec 2004 13:19 GMT24
I am so outraged, I can barely restrain myself.  The beautiful
red-tailed hawk and his mate, who made their home on the facade of a
Fifth Avenue apartment building for eleven years, and  raised 23
chicks there-- and have been watched with fascination and affection
