Help desperately needed14 Dec 2004 02:03 GMT36
This morning I received a phone call from a woman who is desperately in need
of help, I did what I could do to try and solve her problem and then said I
would go to my ng to see if I could get further advice - I just know that
someone will have the answer.

20 questions13 Dec 2004 22:28 GMT5
I know the object is to stump the AI, but I am always so delighted
when it correctly guesses what I'm thinking with just a few well-placed
questions. Guess I never outgrew my childlike enjoyment of wondering
"How does it DO that?"

visiting Eros13 Dec 2004 19:57 GMT45
I dropped by the shelter again today and donated some stuff that Oscar
rejected -- a hut-type bed and a few dancy toys.  Then I asked to see Eros.
He's still in the cat condo, but his buddy Tucker is gone.  No surprise there;
kittens adopt fast.  Instead, he has two more sedate ...
Bubbels Virgins13 Dec 2004 19:43 GMT7
OK, fes up, how many Bubbels Virgins are there apart from Suz.
I am now up to three clearances - I know this is a poor record when
compared to Bubbel champions with brilliant low scores and astronomical,
block-busting high scores.  I am still convinced there must be a secret
Apologies for absence13 Dec 2004 18:48 GMT6
Sorry I've not been around recently (in case anyone has noticed) but my old
'puter died: adding SP2 to XP stopped it booting up at all, and total
reformat & reload didn't help for long..................
So you can guess who's off my card list this season.
Purr Request13 Dec 2004 18:48 GMT32
I took Bandit to her new TED today (and I was *VERY* favorable impressed
with their entire organization), "Just Cats" in The Woodlands, TX.  The tech
was extremely knowledgeable and gentle, the vet was *very* thorough - the
physical exam included checking her temp (with an ear ...
Scrapbooking Chessie.....13 Dec 2004 16:25 GMT5
After buying numerous bits and pieces (paper/scissors/stickers/punches/etc)
for months, I've finally gotten up enough nerve to start a practice
scrapbook page using photos of my Chessie cat.  Had various bits and pieces
out on the kitchen table trying to decide the arrangement of 4 ...
Kitten video13 Dec 2004 15:31 GMT33
I found a little clip of an Abyssinian momma cat and her two babies. Very
cute! If you want to watch go to http://www.miu-nefer.nl/english/home.html
click on Photos then click on the one that says "movie". It's 5.12MB and
runs for two minutes. The momma cat looks a lot like Abelard!
I put up the tree13 Dec 2004 15:20 GMT7
Well, I put up the Xmas tree.  It's just a little artificial one that
my roommate owns.  It's a short on that sits on the kitchen table,
cause we have no other place to put it.
As I was setting up the branches on the table, Mischief leaps up onto
Grayling, Smokey, or whatever his name is...13 Dec 2004 15:02 GMT15
We took our foster kitty, Smokey, Grayling, or Whatever His Name Is,
back to the Haven last night as he's now ready to choose his
onetruehome.  It was a parting filled with mixed emotions and a lot of
confusion.  I think Grayling, or Whatever His Name Is, had decided that
Blinky eyes13 Dec 2004 14:41 GMT9
Last night I was in the kitchen doing something and Vino was sitting
on the floor looking up at me.  I opened my eyes really wide and
stared him down.  He immediately looked away.
A little while later I looked down again and saw him looking at me.
Solving Bubbels13 Dec 2004 09:18 GMT46
I have decided I am going to clear the screen of bubbels or die in the
attempt. (I can just see the small news item in the paper - woman passed
away from starvation in front of a screen of bubbels.  This curious
event is being investigated by the Bubbel Squad)  Do you know I have
My best game so far.13 Dec 2004 08:59 GMT6
Managed to Score 260970 last night after clearing the screen.
And did that stop me?
