Mozart, the kamikaze Kitten31 Dec 2004 00:26 GMT7
I know we have to take him back to be adopted out, but we're having too
much fun (and aggravation) from this little guy.
Mozart is a red tabby.  When we got him he was so sick that he'd crawl
into a hiding place and stay there.  He wouldn't come out except to eat
More dog purrs31 Dec 2004 00:26 GMT21
My brother's Springer Spaniel Maggie is need of more purrs. Her seizures
appeared to be under control, but this morning she had another grand mal
seizure that lasted a full minute. Pat is taking her back to the vet for
more tests to figure out what's wrong.
Ear Worm31 Dec 2004 00:04 GMT33
OK, you'll probably hate me for this more than for the political rant that
started an argument, but like Bev with Bubbels, I *have* to share.
I bent down to pick up Sammy from the floor and bring her upstairs with me
and she let out her usual squeaky little "mew!"  Full blown it ...
It has been a bad year for my poor kitties - LONG30 Dec 2004 21:57 GMT21
Hi group,
I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I have 5719 messages
still unread, and I don't think I can catch up.
It has been a terrible year for me and my kitties in particular - all of
Purrs needed30 Dec 2004 19:48 GMT21
Something is wrong with my 10 year old orange tabby Rusty. He pee and poop
outside of his litter box. His regular TED is on vacation till after the new
year.
I called another vet in town and got an appt. for tomorrow.
A little bit late, but anyway30 Dec 2004 15:59 GMT4
A merry Christmas to all of you!
I've been gone for some days, visiting my family in Trondheim. That is
Norway's third largest city, if you didn't know.. My father is 83 now, and,
despite the fact that his head is not working very well anymore, he was very
B#stard cat tricks30 Dec 2004 15:50 GMT6
The cats kept me from having a good night's sleep last night. The
cupboard under the sink has a two-part cover, and the top section is
screwed on from behind, presumably so it can be removed to deal with
the plumbing. The screws were too loose, and they came undone. The

Just letting you folks know I'm still in the physical body :)
Dogs and Cats30 Dec 2004 15:01 GMT1
Somewhere in the past 49,579 posts (vbg) there was a post about dogs and
cats.  I thought I'd share an observation from Christmas day.  We had
brunch at my brother-in-law's house.  He has a calico cat that is about
9 years old.  They also have a d*g thing that is a mix of chow, ...
Purrs for My Long-Lost Please30 Dec 2004 14:38 GMT33
The poor man has had a hard time of it.  He had surgery for diverticulitis
on 12/8.  He was in the hospital until 12/14.  They told him he could eat
normal food but I don't think the doctor meant pepperoni pizza; it didn't
agree with him.  I suggested scrambled eggs or french toast, ...
Christmas gift for the wild cats30 Dec 2004 14:23 GMT4
I just signed the Endangered Species Act Legacy Pledge to show my support
for the important protections for our most vulnerable species of fish,
plants and wildlife. Will you join me?
For over thirty years, the Endangered Species Act (ESA) has protected our
The trouble with animals30 Dec 2004 14:09 GMT15
The trouble with our pets is that they don't live as long as we do.  We get
them, grow to love them and never want to part with them.  While we live, we
want *them* to as well, so we can always have them and not face the pain of
losing them.
Catching up30 Dec 2004 11:22 GMT2
I'm back up and looking forward to spending a few days at home with the
furries. There's over 2k messages to read, so it might take me a while
to catch up. Lots of purrs on the way for all those in need. I managed
to read the group briefly at home after I learned of the tsunamis, ...
OT purr request30 Dec 2004 10:11 GMT46
If there are any spare purrs (or prayers) floating around, I'd appreciate it
if you could direct them to my son-in-law, whose back went out on him during
the weekend while he and our daughter was at his parents' house for
Christmas.
Sick kitten -- purrs please30 Dec 2004 10:11 GMT53
Our precious baby, Seth (used to be called Cajun), is spending Christmas
at the vet's office, awaiting the results of an FIP test.  We won't know
anything until Monday.  Any purrs you can spare for this sweet little
soul will be appreciated.
