I would so much appreciate if you could keep my friend's lovable black cat,
Dexter, in your thoughts and purrayers as he's going in for needle biopsies
today -- they suspect lymphoma :o(. His lymph nodes are very swollen in
several locations.

You guys forgive me, but any of you know that either kids or cats that look
particularly cute when they're asleep, you can't help taking their picture.
Even if the kid is 27 years old. Just wanted to show you all the pic.

Just got a rejection letter from the city on that dispatch job I was
chasing. [sigh] Four months of bureaucracy, and I get a rejection.
Nothing clear as to a specific reason, and I won't be able to find
out.

Picked up Mimi at TED's around 10:30, dropped her off at home with plenty of
food & water.  X-rays came back normal - no fluid buildup or anything like
that in her heart or lungs.  No masses that would be causing any problems in
her gut (not even a hairball), but they did say ...

We're getting a real cold snap in Georgia at the moment and its that
very dry cold. Poor Emily doesn't like it at all because she gets really
bad static in her coat, I swear if I turn of the lights she'd glow in
the dark and she seems to have permanent "bed" hair :-)

We have been having a bit of snow today, and the cats have been very
interested in watching it come down. I was sitting here a short time ago,

Google is being a pain.  As I mentioned earlier, I can't respond to any
posts on Google, though I can view them and start new threads.
I'm now trying to make Microsoft Outlook behave for me, and it's being
utterly obnoxious.  But at least I can reach you guys. :)

In the last month we've given the kittens LOTS of toys - six fluffy
and/or glittery balls, innumerable coke and orange juice bottle caps
to bat around, and two three-inch long shiny mice with bells in their
tummies. The kittens love them - so much so that every toy they get

They have such sharp hooky claws and they play so rough so I thought
today is the day. They were so good. :) I got most of the front claws
and only took off the tip because kitten claws are just so darn
small. Now the kittens are getting used to having to work a little

Instead of working I've been doing something much more constructive,
