Anyone remember the '50s romantic comedy "Bell Book and Candle" with
James Stewart and Kim Novak?  I just re-viewed it last night.  It's a
delightful movie, but most delightful of all was Pyewacket, the noisy
Meezer "familiar."  His behavior was *so* Siamese.  The thing I really

Yup, we got snow tonight.  Not enough to worry about, but enough that
the yard is white.  Little Miss OMG it's 80 F and I'm going to freeze,
took the d-thing out for a walk in it.  He had a great time, she came in
vowing never to live north of Tennessee.
Killer's gone to the Great Pillow In The Sky20 Dec 2004 16:24 GMT20
When I was going to be gone from home so long, I arranged for boarding
Killer and Chaos with their v*t. Three days after they were in there, she
came in and found he passed on in his sleep. After examination, she decided
he had a weak heart (with absolutely NO previous ...

I have an "appointment" at 1:30 Central Time20 Dec 2004 13:14 GMT22
Might have gotten a bite on a job for QA Testing.  I usually disregard
emails which result from my posting my resume.  But I checked out the web
site after reading the local job info he sent me; looks like a stable
placement company.  I called and left him a message and also emailed ...

We picked up our two next foster cats today.
Patchouli, a mixed tabby and white, once had an only home.  Then the
SOBs abandoned her and left her to take her chances with the out.

As for you being insignificant; that is wrong! You are a valuable
member of this great, caring newsgroup family, and don't you forget
it! And how are your furmasters? Write when you can; but after you are
moved and settled, you can write the epic of your great diasppearance
UPDATE # 7    Re: Mimi not feeling well.20 Dec 2004 13:14 GMT7
We finally manged to get a poo sample for TED from Mimi.  I followed her all
day Friday, but all she ever did was 'window shop' whenever she got near a
litter box.  I think she must have been holding it until I was "distracted
by something shiney" and made a break for it.  ...

From Jean (JPHobbs)20 Dec 2004 10:21 GMT1
Jean's computer has died again so she can't post to either Catslaves or

you a very Bright and Joyful Christmas, and a Prosperous and Safe New Year.
Cat GPS20 Dec 2004 06:07 GMT2
I just realised that cats have their very own Global Positioning System
(yes, I'm a bit slow).
I moved my bed yesterday. This was, of course, very upsetting to the
cats, especially Frank, who spends most of his life in said bed. The bed
Update for Pat-callers 20 Dec 2004 04:28 GMT2
There's a slight change of plans. The local contact person if I don't
respond to a night call is a different person at a different phone number

with the updated info.
