Real Life Sucks, partly OT, Major Rant, Vent, and hissyfit...oh, and it's a long one21 Dec 2004 18:06 GMT49
On Monday, Rob had to go see the VA doctors in Winston-Salem about his
VA disability claim.  Right now his 100% disability is temporary, the VA
is in the process of determining if, and if so...how much, Rob is still
disabled.  It's a PITA, but has to be done.
How to Inflict Guilt on Your Two-legged Slave and Get What You Want21 Dec 2004 18:05 GMT13
Even though it's NOT anywhere near the "scheduled" (buwaahaha) time to be
fed gooshyfood, find an old food can and loudly munch on the tiny dried bits
in it.
At the same time, keep looking (pitifully) at your slave.

The truck I drive is a 2002 Freightliner Century. It has a storage area
over the driver's head (actually stretching along the entire front of
the cab), and smaller storage areas on the left and right sidewalls
about 5 feet off the floor of the truck. Harri loves to ride in the
Your year....21 Dec 2004 14:55 GMT30
So much has happened this year, and I have so many people I've worried,
wondered, and fussed about, but not been nosey enough to ask how or what
they're doing.
So, question time.  How are the job hunts going?  Owners doing?  Dan,

Take my advice:
Pull down your pants
And slide on the ice!"

Ding recovers from walkabout21 Dec 2004 11:55 GMT11
As some of you will remember, Ding went walkabout a few months ago,
although I never determined if he actually got outside for over a week,
was hiding in the basement, or had teleported to the Mothership. In any
case, he was clearly traumatized by whatever happened. He's always ...

add and kitten21 Dec 2004 06:52 GMT32
Is it possible that a kitten can have attention deficit disorder? Or is
there just a lot of individual variation?
we have 2 kittens from the same litter - one sat by the tv watching
"kitty safari" for 30 minutes...The other glanced at it and went on to
Just call him Pyro...20 Dec 2004 23:39 GMT37
Oh dear, oh dear. It was my birthday yesterday and my present from Nathan was a
rose-scented oil light. So this morning whilst I'm doing my beached whale
impersonation in the bath, the room was filled with scent of roses, from the
oil light. *Lovely* *Bliss*. The bath was a mountain ...
Red Greeblinz are evil20 Dec 2004 23:33 GMT9
I have just learned this. I got out my laser-sight to check it over. The red
greeblinz appeared on the ceilings. Chaos vanished into the distance,
accompanied by the sound of things being moved rapidly out of her way.
Scarlett could use some purrs20 Dec 2004 20:13 GMT33
We were at the vets all afternoon. She started out shivering this
afternoon (was fine all morning!) so I turned up the heat and held
her to warm her up. An hour or so later I thought she was fine, but
when I was in the bathroom getting ready to go out shopping, she
Bottle Cap Blues and OT20 Dec 2004 19:58 GMT4
Why, why, why can I have a dozen milk jug rings  but the cats ALWAYS want
the same one?  I love to watch them at play with these - Nikki batts it all
over the house, meorrrrowing loudly to it all the while.  Chessie perches
like a kangaroo, flings it high with both front paws and ...

I'm leaving here shortly and will be out for most of the day.
Back, but can't keep up20 Dec 2004 18:23 GMT3
DH and I are back home, but Real Life is interfering with my rpca time
and I can't keep up, or catch up for that matter, so we are just
sending out purrs in all directions.  It seems that there's been quite
a bit of excitement, and quite a lot of purrs are needed.  Lula and
